GEMMA Collins and James Argent are back on, Love Island star Olivia Bowen has revealed.

The reality favourite, 27, and husband Alex Bowen, 28, tells HOAR Online that they plan on meeting up with the reunited couple when the current lockdown restrictions are lifted.

Love Island couple Olivia and Alex Bowen have confirmed the GC and Arg are back on

Like everyone else in the UK, the Love Island couple have been bored sitting at home in their lavish Essex pad – which is coincidentally located next door to the GC.

Speaking in aid of Just Eat’s new Breakaway Valentine’s competition, Olivia and Alex revealed that they’ve created various coping mechanisms to pass the time – including ordering takeaways, gaming and a spot of horse riding.

And they’ve even tried organising walks with the Towie legends too.

Olivia told us: “James actually messaged Alex. Arg wanted to go for a walk, we can’t at the moment but when you were allowed to meet up outside, it’s quite nice to have her down the road!”

The pair have been enjoying each other’s company at home during lockdown

However because of their busy schedules, the couples haven’t been able to catch each other at the right time – but it does confirm recent reports that Gemma and Arg have fully reunited.

Olivia added: “We haven’t met up yet, but we always plan to! We didn’t do it and then we went into stricter lockdown so we couldn’t anyway…

“Once they lift again – James messaged Alex and was like ‘Oh we’ll go for walks when we’re allowed to again.’”

The beauty admitted that when they moved into their pad in January 2020, she had no clue that Gemma was her neighbour.

Olivia admitted that she never knew that Gemma lived in their area when they first moved in

Gemma and Olivia planned on lots of fun activities before lockdown hit

Olivia added: “I didn’t know that she lives in this area, she messaged me and said that’s where she lives! We were planning to have like barbecues and roast dinners and stuff, but obviously all this happened, but I’m sure we will once this [the coronavirus pandemic] sorts itself out.”

Gemma and very on/off boyfriend Arg went through a very public break-up in July last year – but things are looking up for the pair once again.

It comes days after it was reported that the couple had fallen into each other’s arms again in lockdown.

Olivia and Alex – who met on the second series of Love Island in 2016 – are one of the rare success stories from the ITV2 reality dating show.

Gemma and Arg have had a very on/off relationship since 2013

They’ve gone from strength to strength since they first locked eyes in the iconic villa many years ago.

Although they rarely argue, the pair admitted that one thing that they do “bicker” over is food.

Alex: “We bicker sometimes about what we fancy for a takeaway.

“It’s always something different and it’s either Liv getting her own way or I actually man up and order something myself, so we’ve actually ordered separate things on two occasions.”

The pair admitted that they can’t wait for restaurants to reopen so that they can enjoy some good food and company

To avoid any heated discussions this Valentine’s Day the pair are ordering separate meals and it looks they aren’t the only ones as 45% of couples would rather order a separate takeaway than compromise.

Alex said: “Olivia and I always find it really difficult when choosing what food to order because we have such different tastes, I love burritos – they’re definitely my takeaway weakness – but she can’t stand them so it does make it quite difficult for us to always agree on the same thing.

“Opting for a Breakaway with Just Eat is definitely the way forward for us and we can’t wait to tuck in to our own dishes this Valentine’s Day.”

Olivia added: “I’m definitely more fussy than Alex when it comes to choosing what to eat.

Olivia and Alex are looking forward to their separate takeaway choices this Valentine’s Day

“We have nights where we are polar opposite of what we want to eat and as food is definitely the way to my heart.

“I’m glad that Alex and I have teamed up with Just Eat to enjoy a Breakaway this Valentine’s Day to make sure we keep the peace and can still enjoy a romantic night in together.”

Alex and Olivia Bowen have teamed up with Just Eat as part of its Breakaway campaign giving Brits the chance to go their separate ways this Valentine’s Day so they too can enjoy takeaway independence.
