How do I vote on Love Island 2020 and do I need the Love Island app?

IT is that time on Love Island as one unlucky girl will be saying adios to the villa TONIGHT, as well as having the unwanted title of being the first to be dumped.

Whilst the public will not be able to vote during tonight’s show, they will have the power to save cast members and send others home soon by voting on the official Love Island app.

How do I vote on Love Island?

In order for fans to have their say on who stays and who goes, they will need to download the Love Island App which is available to both Android and Apple iOS users.

The app can be downloaded via the Google Play Store on Android and the App Store on iOS.

Once the app has been downloaded, open it up and a vote icon will appear on the bottom of the screen.

Do I need the Love Island app?

The Love Island app is essential for viewers as it is the only way that votes can be cast.

Voting is absolutely free and viewers can take part in every public vote throughout the show.

Fans are able to download the Love Island app free of charge from either the Play Store and App Store.

For each public vote, make sure that you do not try and vote if you are watching on ITV 2+1 or on catch-up, as your vote will not count and you may still be charged.

What else can I do on the Love Island app?

As well as using it to cast votes, there are some other fun and cool things to do on the Love Island app.

The ‘Latest’ tab at the top left of the home page, shares new information on the islanders as well as little pictures and videos from the show.

The ‘Discovery’ tab on the top right, includes a section for each contestant with more information about them, as well as daily recaps and the first look at a new episode.

At the bottom of the homepage there is a ‘shop’ tab, where fans can get buy all the Love Island gear, such as the famous personalised water bottles.

There is also a ‘style’ tab, sponsored by I Saw It First, where fans can buy the clothes very similar to what the islanders wear on the show, such as dressers worn by the girls and swim shorts donned by the guys.

The ‘more’ tab involves links to other websites connected with the show, as well as information about terms and conditions.

The new winter series ofLove Islandstarted on Sunday, January 12, 2020on ITV2.

The show airs on ITV2 from 9pm every night.

It is the sixth season of the popular reality TV show and the first of two series to be aired in 2020.
