JOE Swash was supported by his co-star Alex Murphy last night as he paid an emotional tribute to Caroline Flack on Dancing On Ice.

The 36-year-old presenter has been left devastated by his pals tragic passing over the weekend and struggled as he took to the ice during the show.

Following his performance to Robbie Williams’ hit Candy, pro skater Alex took the lead talking to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

She told them: This was really hard to get through and do a happy number when he feels the way that he feels, so Im so proud of him.

Phillip addressed Joe saying: Weve got to point out to everyone that you were very, very close to Caroline. Its been an amazingly tough day and shed be so proud of you.

The emotional actor replied: I just want to send my love to her family and friends.

Joe grew close to Caroline when they were bothpresenters on I’m A Celeb’s spin-off showbetween 2009 and 2010.

Yesterday, hefought back tears as he spoke out on her death on his InstagramStory.

His voice cracked as he told fans: “I want to send a message to everyone and let everyone know that Caroline Flack was the most amazing person you could ever come across.

“She was funny, super talented, and she had the most infectious laugh.

“I wish that she could have asked for help because there’s so many people that love her and I am going to miss her so much.

“We can’t let this happen, we can’t let this happen to anyone else.”

Former Love Island hostCaroline, 40 who was due in court next month on charges of assaulting her boyfriend was found in her new flat on Saturday after taking her own life.

A family statement read: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.

“We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”
