MAURA Higgins has told how watching her ex Curtis Pritchard move on from her with a dancer was a “kick in the teeth”.
The Dancing On Ice star, 29, said her two most recent boyfriends had both cheated on her.
Maura feared Curtis, 24, had done the dirty on her during their eight-month romance — despite his denials.
Maura, who split from Curtis in March, said: “It’s kind of a kick in the teeth that I’ve been cheated on by my last two boyfriends, but I will be stronger for this.”
When asked about moving on she told Fabulous magazine: “Everything happens for a reason and, to be honest, I wish him all the best.
“I’m in a good place now. It’s not nice to see but I’m fine.”
Maura and Curtis started dating on last year’s Love Island.
But their relationship began to crumble when the Irish beauty signed up to Dancing On Ice in January.
Curtis was pictured in a clinch with a girl at a New Year’s party just hours after Maura skated live on the ITV show for the first time.
A few months later in March, just before Maura confirmed their split, Curtis was filmed with his current girlfriend Amber Pierson.
When asked why she did not voice her fears at the time, Maura added: “I tried to brush it aside and maybe that was the worst thing that I could have done.
“Looking back, in my gut I knew there was something.”
Maura also hit back at Curtis’ hint she was more than just friends with her Dancing On Ice partner Alex Demetriou, 28.
She said: “No, nothing there.”
Following their stint on the ice together, Alex’s marriage also crumbled.
HOAR confirmed in April that Alex had split from fellow Dancing On Ice pro Carlotta Edwards, 29.
Friends said his friendship with Maura put a strain on the relationship.
