LOVE Island bosses brought in a new rule for the 2023 series – and it stopped people from secretly having sex.

Over the years viewers have been shocked to see the Islanders doing the deed in the villa – but in recently years it’s become a little more PG.

Love Island introduced a new rule this year

Tom admitted that only one Islander is allowed in the pantry at a time

During this year’s winter series fans of the ITV2 show were left scratching their heads on whether the Islanders had been having sex.

Jessie Wynter and Tanya Manhenga confessed to each other that they had gone all the way with their beaus Will Young and Shaq Muhammad.

Love Island 2021 star Chloe Burrows got chatting about the Islanders bedroom shenanigans with Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, both 24, during her most recent episode of Chloe vs The World.

Chloe, who starred in the villa alongside the likes of Millie Court, Liam Reardon and Liberty Poole, said: “People were doing it in the pantry, the shower…”

Tom then explained that his series weren’t given the opportunity to do that.

The northern hunk replied: “We weren’t allowed in the pantry though! There was only one person.”

Chloe joked: “Maybe that’s why!”

During the 2019 series, fans were convinced that the store cupboard in the kitchen is where the Islanders had a chat with the producers.

During a drinking game the host asked if they had sex during their time in the villa.

After Tom and Samie took a shot, Chloe said: “Don’t worry babe, all my series was shagging like rabbits!

“People were shagging in the first weeks.”

It comes after the couple looked furious on a day out after the hunk revealed they’re “trying to make their relationship work”.

Just last week the pair sparked fear amongst fans that they had split up after realising the pair had been spending time apart.
