LOVE Island star Theo Campbell is suing Gary Lineker’s brother’s club after he was hit in the eye by a champagne cork.
The ex-400m runner, 30, required surgery after a spray party at Wayne Lineker’s O Beach club in Ibiza in 2019.
His lawyers say his ruptured cornea stopped him taking part in MTV show The Challenge.
The ex-Team GB star had won £145,000 as a runner-up in a previous series but they claim he could have scooped the £750,000 top prize.
The High Court heard Campbell would now be carving out a “significant media presence” but for his accident.
The judge was told he wants “hundreds of thousands” in compensation from Ice Mountain Ibiza SL.
The company, owned by tycoon Lineker, 59, denies all liability.
