LOVE Island fans are fuming after Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruikshank came fourth and have accused the show of racism.
Tonight’s final saw four couples go head-to-head for the chance to win £50,000, with Welsh lad Liam Reardon and Essex’s Millie Court taking the top spot.
To the shock of many on social media, Kaz and Tyler came in fourth place ahead of the controversial Faye and her boyfriend Teddy.
While most bookies had Millie and Liam or Toby and Chloe as favourites to win, the fourth-placed couple were very popular amongst viewers.
Fans of the show rushed to social media to slam the couple’s shock fourth placing.
Some labelled it as ‘anti-black’, while others accused the show as being ‘fixed.’
“The way my blood is boiling this night…” wrote one viewer on Twitter.
Another added: “Sadly we knew Kaz and Tyler weren’t gonna win. I will mark the day a black couple wins Love Island!”
A third commented: “Every single time a black woman has been on the show they have faced racism FOR LITERALLY JUST BEING ON THE SHOW. The love island producers do nothing to protect them from this. A recent example would be when kaz’s instagram page was filled with racist comments…”
And a fourth wrote: “Love island is obviously ANTI-BLACK. I just thought they’d prove me wrong just this once. Imagine Faye & Teddy placing higher than Kaz and Tyler? ARE YOU ORIGHT?? No whey [sic].”
But others chose to celebrate Kaz and Tyler’s achievement as the first black couple to make it to the final.
Many also pointed out the fact that Kaz was the first darker skinned black girl to make it to a Love Island final.

“I’m so proud of Kaz and Tyler! First black couple and first black girl to reach love island final They have made history and NOBODY can take that away from them. Kaz was an amazing representation of a black woman!!” wrote one fan.
And a second commented: “At the end of the day Kyler did us proud. They kept it real and represented us good! Also love that our girl Kaz is the only dark skin black girl to make it this far!”
Millie and Liam were crowned the winners of Love Island tonight – and agreed to split the £50,000 prize pot.
The lovers, who recently reconciled after a brief split on the show, had been the bookies’ favourites to leave the villa triumphant.
Host Laura Whitmore announced Millie, 24, and Liam, 22, had beaten Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank, Teddy Soares and Faye Winter to the big-cash pot following a tense 90 minute episode.
Kaz and Tyler finished in fourth and vowed to continue as a couple back in the UK, while Faye and Teddy came third following their controversial row just weeks ago.
