LOVE Island fans praised Priscilla Anyabu for standing up to Mike Boateng after he bizarrely patted her on the head during last night’s couples challenge.

All the Islanders took part in the task and answered a series of questions about what they thought about each other.

Mike decided to pat Priscilla on the head during the show’s latest challenge.

Viewers took to Twitter to back the 25-year-old, with one fan saying: “Priscilla knows how to put Mike in his place, yass girll.”

A second fan tweeted: “Priscilla stuck it on Mike so eloquently. Classy babe.”

A third viewer said: “Im glad Priscilla told Mike about himself. He does too much.”

Then a fourth fan added: “Well done Priscilla … needed to be said, hopefully Mike takes it in and listens.”

Mike landed himself in hot water during a challenge involving the islanders answering some questions about each other.

It came after Sinnise and Luke T, who became the second official couple in the villa after a romantic Disney gesture by the pro footballer, voted for Mike and Priscilla as the grumpiest couple.

Luke explained the reason for their decision, saying the policeman gets grumpy when he is called a “game player.”

Then the 24-year-old shockingly patted Priscilla on the head whilst saying “that’ll do donkey,” a quote from the movie Shrek.

The other islanders were stunned by the remark, as 23-year-old Ched commented “personally I wouldn’t have that.”

Priscilla maintained her composure and waited until the evening to confront Mike over his comments.

After receiving an apology from him, the 25-year-old sternly explained that he doesn’t know exactly what he is apologising for and described his actions as “very condescending.”

The model felt embarrassed, disrespected and believed Mike was looking for attention, as she explained that he “didn’t need to be the class clown and that “the attention was already on him.”

Mike and Priscilla were the hosts of the couples challenge

Seeming to now recognise what he had done and how it made her feel, Mike apologised for second time and the operations manager forgave him, but warned it can “never happen again.”

The couple soon had to focus their attention on something else, as the Islanders received a text stating they would have to vote for the two couples they think are the least compatible.

Mike and Priscilla, along with Demi and Luke M, Jamie and Natalia, Callum and Molly and Jess and Ched will be up for eviction.

The official couples of Sinnise and Luke T and Finn and Paige are safe as they did not receive any votes from their fellow islanders.
