LOVE Island’s sizzling singletons have made an art out of turning their celeb status into cash with social media promotions when they leave the villa.

With the new season kicking off tonight, fans will be scrambling to Instagram to find out more about their favourite contestants.

Love Island has produced some of the most successful influencers like Maura Higgins, who is now a millionaire

Previous stars of the reality show have built million-pound fortunes by becoming the faces of fashion houses, setting up businesses and charging hefty personal appearance fees.

Some series favourites including Maura Higgins, Zara McDermott and Megan Barton-Hanson have raked in a fortune selling sexy lingerie.

Many of the sun-kissed celebs can charge thousands just by sharing sponsored posts with their legions of Instagram followers.

Here we’ve used HypeAuditor‘s Instagram Money Calculator to work out the maximum Love Island stars can command for a single post, revealing who’s really making a killing on the platform.

Molly-Mae Hague – £10,140

Molly-Mae might have been a runner-up in the 2019 series of Love Island, but she’s now leading the show’s Insta rich list by a long way.

It’s thought the 24-year-old mother-of-one can charge up to a staggering £10,140 per sponsored post, thanks to her 7.5million followers on the platform.

She’s already made mountains of cash signing deals with fashion companies, including a reported £500,000 deal with PrettyLittleThing.

In August 2021 she was appointed the creative director of the brand, earning a mind-blowing £400,000 a month.

With the birth of baby Bambi, she’s also the ultimate mumfluencer and is set to make millions in the role.

Tommy Fury – £9,800

Tommy Fury can charge nearly £10K for just one post on his glitzy Instagram feed

Trailing Molly-Mae – but only just – is her boyfriend, boxer Tommy Fury.

The 24-year-old has amassed a 5.1million-strong Instagram following of his own, meaning he’s believed to be able to charge £9,800 per post.

Thanks to promoting big brands like Disney+, McDonalds, big fights with the likes of Jake Paul, he’s now thought to be worth over £1million.

Tommy’s profile has sharply risen both in the UK and across the pond with many fans speculating that a fight with fellow ex-Islander Idris Virgo may be on the cards after their recent brawl.

Maura Higgins – £5,200

Maura Higgins is now worth a fortune – and can make even more by charging thousands per post

Maura Higgins has made a killing from the fashion world since leaving the villa in 2019.

The Irish beauty, 32, is now thought to be a millionaire thanks in part to a £500,000 deal with Ann Summers.

And with 3.7million Instagram followers, it’s believed she can charge £5,200 per post.

Sizzling singleton Maura, who has been linked to fellow Islander Chris Hughes in the past, made headlines when she was spotted kissing TOWIE star Joey Essex after a whirlwind romance with Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice.

Dani Dyer – £4,100

Just behind Maura is 2018 series winner Dani Dyer.

With 3.7million followers, the 26-year-old is believed to be able to charge £4,100 per post – just over a grand shy of Maura’s estimate.

Dani, who is the mother to Santiago, two, and welcomed twins Summer and Star with West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen in May, is now said to be a multimillionaire, thanks to her deal with In The Style and her collaboration with Cadbury’s.

She has also dabbled in acting and starred on an episode of EastEnders and in the musical Nativity, alongside her dad Danny.

Ekin-Su – £4,100

Ekin-Su is already one of the most successful Love Islanders, having won last year’s series

After the show she was snapped up by Oh Polly as a brand ambassador in a deal said to be worth £1million (which has since gone sour), and even starred in her own reality show with Davide called Homecomings.

Ekin-Su, 27, also competed on Dancing On Ice earlier this year and is reportedly worth £1.6million.

On Instagram, Ekin-Su is able to make £4,100 per post, according to the calculator.

It’s not just the recent stars who can make a fortune from sponsored posts.

The 29-year-old Essex girl has over 3.1million Instagram followers and regularly posts glimpses of the amazing £1million mansion she shares with hubby Alex, who she met on the show.

Kem is said to be worth £1.5million, thanks in part to his seven-figure partnership with high street giant Primark.

Amber Gill – £3,700

The gorgeous 25-year-old boasts an army of 2.6million followers, allowing her to charge up to £3,700 for a single post.

Not that she needs the cash, having launched an ultra-glam collection with Public Desire in 2021 and securing a £1million deal with clothing brand Miss Pap.

She’s also had sponsorship agreements with big names such as Maybelline, British Airways and Just Eat.

Chris Hughes – £3,000

Kem’s love affair with Amber was arguably eclipsed by his epic bromance with fellow islander Chris Hughes.

Chris, 30, also gives Kem a run for his money in the Instagram rich list, able to charge £3,000 per post to his 2.2million followers.

Hungry for more, Chris even hired a Hollywood agent in a bid to crack the American market with his TV and acting career.

“I just love being in front of the camera,” he said of his US plans. “I just want to spread my wings, like I’m never happy with enough, do you know what I mean, I always want more.”

She has several collaborations with big-name brands such as I Saw It First. She is also said to have pocketed £125,000 for her brief stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

NHS hero Dr Alex George probably makes pretty good money as a doctor.

But the 30-year-old islander can also top his earnings up by charging an estimated £2,500 per post to his 1.9million followers.

Away from the show and social media, he is also a mental health advocate and has worked closely with the government on the issue.

It’s a message that’s close to home as his 19-year-old brother Llyr tragically took his own life in 2020.

Gemma Owen – £5,000

Gemma can command up to £5K per post

She may have missed out on being crowned winner of last year’s summer series, but Gemma Owen has definitely done well for herself since the show ended.

Just one week after her villa exit, it was reported that she had scooped up a six-figure fashion deal with BooHoo.

The partnership is said to have helped to push her net worth to over £1million.

And as the icing on the cake, the calculator suggests that Gemma is able to bring in £5,000 per sponsored post on Instagram, with a follower count of 1.9million.

Millie Court – £5,400

Although the pair split up, they are said to have reconciled recently and are keeping their rekindled romance away from the public glare.

After the show, Millie found huge success and is now estimated to be worth £2million.

She’s also able to make £5,400 with every sponsored snap she posts to her 1.9million followers on Instagram.
