LOVE Island has signed up a semi-pro footballer who’s the son of a one-time Premier League star.

Tyrique Hyde, whose dad Micah played for Watford in England’s top division, will be hoping to score with the villa beauties when he graces its hallowed turf.

The Dartford midfielder, 23, is swapping his boots for flip flops next month as one of summer series’ original boys.

A source said: “Tyrique is the whole package. He’s fit, handsome and has charisma.

“He’s had a good season and love his football, but he couldn’t say no to spending the summer in Majorca in a luxury house filled with beautiful women.”

HOAR has contacted Love Island for comment.

National League South side Dartford lost to St Albans in the play-off semi-final earlier this month having finished second in the league.

While a decent player in his own right, Tyrique is yet to experience the heights his dad reached in the early noughties.

Micah, 48, played 253 times for Watford before making 102 appearances for Burnley in the Championship and 64 for Peterborough United.

He also earned 17 international caps for Jamaica.

Earlier today we revealed show bosses have signed up a glamorous beauty clinic owner for the upcoming summer series.

Jess Harding, who runs Candy Aesthetics, is a blonde stunner that is guaranteed to court serious attention from the boys.

The West London girl will be hot property when she enters the villa on June 5 and, thanks to her day job, is likely to be preened to perfection.

Jess’s Instagram page is full of pictures of her in racy dresses and bikinis.

The blonde beauty loves sunny holidays, but also has an adventurous side. In one picture she can be seen on a quad bike in the Egyptian desert and even manages to make that look glamorous.

The jet-setting beautician has also recently visited Holland, Dubai and South East Asia.

Meanwhile Molly Marsh was the first contestant to revealed for the new series.

The 24-year-old, a social media influencer as well as racking up the theatre roles, hit it off with telly bosses after she was invited to tour the winter Love Island villa in January.

A source revealed: “Molly was scouted after visiting the villa in South Africa earlier this year.

“She was on the tour as an invited guest when she caught the eyes of producers.

“Molly made it clear she would love to be a part of Love Island and she was told to audition.

“She is a star on the rise and comes from a showbiz family — her mum Janet even had small roles on Coronation Street and Still Open All Hours.”
