THE cast of Winter Love Island are ditching their beach shorts and bikinis as they return to their jobs from before the show.

From a baker to an actor, here are some of the stars who are retreating from the spotlight just weeks after leaving the villa.

Keanan Brand

Reality TV star Keanan Brand is back playing rugby with the Leigh Leopards

Leigh Leopards ace Keanan Brand spent six days on the show after flying to South Africa, three years after he first auditioned.

Now the sportsman has been welcomed back into the fold at his rugby club.

Keanan, 24, has been getting up close to tough rugby rivals after sharing rather more tender moments on Love Island with Claudia Fogarty.

He told HOAR: “But honestly, there’s not much difference in life now from before I went on. People obviously recognise who I am, which is a bit different, but all my friends and family are very grounded.

“It was just straight back to reality, which is what I wanted. I’ve gone straight back to my normal life.”

He said his experience was both ‘amazing’ and very different from his rugby co-star Jaques O’Neill.

The 24-year-old said: “We’re quite good friends but I didn’t tell him I was going on.

“Once I left, though, he was straight in contact saying, ‘If you ever need anyone, I’m here for you.’ I saw him to talk through things as we’d both been through the same”

Tanya Manhenga

Love Island’s Tanya Manhenga said she will ‘definitely’ complete her uni degree

Tanya Manhenga has insisted her success on the show isn’t going to knock her career plans off track.

The biomedical student said she was still going to finish her university degree despite finding fame.

She replied to a fan who had asked during an Instagram Q&A if she was planning on dropping her tricky studies.

Tanya insisted: “I’m definitely going to finish… I don’t start things and don’t finish them.”

Biomedical science degrees give you the skills to conduct lab tests that help diagnose and tackle disease and can be highly paid.

The Liverpool student also said she was “definitely thinking” about making a move to London when asked whether she would swap cities.

Claudia Fogarty

Claudia had a tough time with Casey in the villa

Claudia Fogarty has gone straight back to working on her old job working on her fashion brand after leaving the villa.

The 28-year-old shared a picture of herself wearing a pair of socks from Sister Stories, a clothing company she runs with her old sister Danielle.

As well as owning Sister Stories, Claudia and her sister have a clothes boutique called Storm Fashion.

Speaking shortly after they opened the store, which stocks lots of designer brands, back in 2019, Danielle said: “We opened the doors to Storm on 1 May and are already so overwhelmed with how well it is going.

“We have had so much support along the way, which has helped us to be in the position we are now – in particular, one lady who believed in us from the start and helped create this dream we have now.”

Tanyel Revan

Love Island star Tanyel Revan has returned to her normal job

Tanyel is now back transforming people’s hair at her salon in her very normal job.

She shared a video of a client before and after a Keratin treatment and tagged her business account Revan Hair.

Tanyel entered the villa on day one as an original Islander, but was dumped 23 days later.

The reality star has loved her new found fame since appearing on Love Island, posting sponsored ads on Instagram and attending glitzy events.

Depsite not finding love in the villa, Tanyel also confessed that she’s seeing someone, but wants to keep him out of the spotlight.

Tanyel didn’t have an easy journey on Love Island.

She coupled up with winner Kai Fagan on day one, but by day five wanted to explore her connection with Ron Hall.

The pair realised that they were better off as pals and she went back to Kai, but Kai wanted to get to know other girls.

Tanyel then recoupled with Ron AGAIN in a friendship couple.

Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo

Cynthia graced the show as a Casa Amor girl

Casa Amor girl Cynthia has also gone back to her regular gig – but it’s a lucrative one.

The 25 year old runs her own cakes and cupcakes company, Cynful Treats, and she is back in business following her stint on the ITV2 show.

Cynthia recently defended the price of her personalised cakes on social media after one follower labelled them as a “rip off” and said they would “rather go to Gregg’s“.

But Cynthia clapped back: “And if that’s the case babe then you obviously cannot see the value in my work or the time and effort it takes to make sure someone’s cake is perfectly suited them.

“Go and enjoy your Greggs…hun x”

She later added: “I have spent YEARS trying to get people to understand that it’s not “just cake”. Do not disrespect the craft and skills that bakers have.

“This takes hours at times and I absolutely love doing it. If you cannot appreciate the craft go and make it yourself or buy it from the supermarket.”
