LOVE Island winner Paige Turley could be set to take on her ex-boyfriend Lewis Capaldi in the charts after teasing her own music career.

The reality star, 22, had her first taste of what it was like to be a chart-topping star when she made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

Her recent stint of the popular ITV2 reality show has certainly helped her reach her goal of being a successful singer.

She told The Daily Star: “I have a lot of exciting projects in the pipeline and singing absolutely still remains a passion of mine, watch this space.
“It’s been a total whirlwind since Love Island. I haven’t really had any time to shop as I’ve been so manic with work, but I am loving every minute of it.”

Although Love Island isn’t her only claim to fame as the West Lothian chick dated music sensation Lewis Capaldi between 2014 and 2016.

During her time in the Love Island villa, Paige mentioned her famous ex on a number of occasions, and many fans think Lewis’ smash hit single Someone You Loved is about her.

After their split in 2016, the devastated star channelled his heartbreak into his hit album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

However, there’s no hard feelings between the pair and Lewis has insisted that Paige has ‘every right’ to talk about him as he’s made money off songs about her and even texted her to say congratulations after she bagged the £50,000 prize.

Paige has now moved on with 20-year-old semi-professional footballer Finley Tapp.

The pair coupled up on Love Island when he entered the villa as a bombshell.

They won over the hearts of the nation with their electric chemistry and now their relationship is going from strength to strength.

The loved up couple were recently locked in talks about plans to move to Manchester together or head to Finn’s hometown of Milton Keynes and revealed they are going to start a family “quickly.”

Paige and Finn are also planning to get married and say they could well have two weddings because they can’t agree on where to hold their big day.

While Paige would like to tie the knot in the Maldives, Finn, wants something a little more traditional.

Finn told OK! Magazine: “I would like a big traditional church wedding in my local church because that’s where my parents and their parents got married.

“We’re going to have to come to a compromise. We can’t agree so maybe we’ll have two weddings!”

Finn recently drove 400 miles from his home town of Milton Keynes to West Lothian to be able to quarantine with his new beau during the coronavirus pandemic.
