LOVE Island’s Amy Hart plans to land her dream man this year– but if she doesn’t then she wants to be single mum just like Ferne McCann and Lydia Bright who are “smashing it”.

The reality beauty, 27, recently appeared on MTV’s dating show Celeb Ex In The City but failed to find love.

Amy Hart plans to meet the man of her dreams this year

The blonde beauty said she was thrilled to return to the dating scene after her dating life was put on hold during the lockdown.

Speaking exclusively to HOAR, Amy said: “I went on a date with a lovely guy called Kieron and Emmanuel turned up and I had to decide who to take on a second date.

“There was no spark between me and Kieron as lovely as he was – so I took Emmanuel and then my other ex Kurt turned up.

“He was just looking for answers why I ghosted him, which was very naughty of me and I do regret it.”

The Love Island star said she’d smash being a single mum like Ferne McCann and Lydia Bright

The reality star, who has previously appeared on the 2019 series of Love Island and series eight of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, revealed that she is currently still single.

Amy joked: “I don’t really date a lot, nobody loves Ames. It is really hard. I have a group of really close friend and we go out for dinner once a month.

“If the three of us are out, no boys come over and talk to us because we can’t mix tables. You can’t meet people because you have to be in your own bubble.”

But the unlucky in love star remains hopeful that this year she will land her dream fella.

Amy confirmed that she will freeze her eggs in September

She said: “I’ve said every that I’ll meet the one since 2010, so why break the habit of a lifetime. But hopefully, this year has got to be it surely.”

Amy, who previously called Good Morning’s Alex Beresford her number-one crush has since set her sights on actor and comedian Tom Davis.

She laughed: “Alex Beresford is my celebrity crush but I’ve also got another one now – King Gary. I’m obsessed with him , he’s just so tall, I think he’s so funny as well but sadly he’s married.”

The telly star said that she would love a man who can keep up with her, she is also open to dating someone who is not in the limelight.

Amy said her new crush is actor and comedian Tom Davis

She said: “I’m 100 miles an hour and I feel like I need to meet someone who is also 100 miles an hour.

“I have a lot of love to give for someone who will mutually adore me as much as I adore them. They don’t have to be a celebrity, I’m a normal person.”

Amy made the decision to freeze her eggs last year after being told she is at risk of early menopause like her mum – and will get this done later this year.

She said: “I am putting the wheels in motion for later on this year, maybe September time.”

Amy plans to have a baby by 35

Amy said she is confident that she will be an amazing mum and doesn’t need a man for that.

The former air hostess added: “I feel like because I am absolutely fine being a solo parent, I have so many friends that have ended up solo parents through no fault of their own, they haven’t planned it.

“They’re absolutely bossing it and if you look at really strong mums like Lydia Bright and Ferne McCann – they’re absolutely smashing it. You don’t need a man at all.

“I’m such a control freak. I have a fear that people are going to let me down.

Amy has ruled out a romance with Curtis Pritchard in the future

“If I get to 35 and I haven’t met someone then I’ll have a baby. But if I meet someone at 34 and then we split up after two or three years and I haven’t had a baby, my eggs would be expired.

“I don’t want to leave it to anyone else, I want to do it myself. I’m a bit too independent, that’s one of my issues as well with dating.”

Amy and Curtis set tongues wagging last summer when they reunited for a cosy snap but has firmly ruled out a romance between the pair in the future.

She said: “We’re on really good terms, there was a lot that happened in the villa and a lot of emotions.

The reality star said she feels like a ‘completely different person’ after completing therapy

“The fact that we ran into each other in a club and had an hour meaningful deep conversation was the best thing, but there will be absolutely no romance in the future.”

Amy recently showcased her dramatic weight loss after just seven days of exercise and healthy eating.

The reality babe jetted to Portugal in September to take part in a juice master retreat with Jason Vale at the Juicy Oasis Boutique Health Retreat and Spa.

And it certainly looked like it’s worked wonders for the reality favourite as she’s dropped 2kg in weight and is looking better than ever.

Amy said she is happier than ever and loves her new outlook on life

She admitted that the short getaway has also done wonders for her inside too, especially her mental health.

Amy has kickstarted the year with Veganuary and plans to get into really good shape.

She said: “I don’t have resolutions because I never keep to them but I have a whole list of goals.

“I want to get into really good shape, I don’t want to lose weight but I want to get really good at the gym, during lockdown fitness really improved my mental health.

Amy said that you ‘don’t need a man’ to be a good mum

Amy said that she is a “totally different person” after completing her therapy – she admitted that she had been working on herself 18 months after walking out of the popular ITV2 show.

The bubbly star said: “I’ve completed my therapy and I’m really proud of myself.

“I always thought I was unlikable, I was a failure, that I was really ugly and that no one liked me. I was really scared of rejection.

“But now I know that I’m a good person, I am fun to be around and I have amazing friends. If people don’t want to be my friends then that’s fine.”

The telly beauty said her dream man has to keep up with her pace of life

The beauty not only feels great on the inside but recently underwent a £100,000 makeover to get her teeth fixed after trolls bullied her for years over her pearly whites.

She said: “All I had done was my teeth and my boobs. I am quite curvy, I have big hips and a big bum and with size A boobs I looked ridiculous. I don’t regret anything.

“You’re damned if you do, you’re damned. I get accused all the time of having lip fillers. I’ve never had lip fillers.

“I think there is a lot of pressure on women and I pride myself for being quite normal.”
