LOVE Island’s Demi Jones revealed that she did not apply to be on the show, but was actually scouted on social media.
The red-haired beauty conducted a Q&A session on Instagram when a fan asked her how she got on to ITV 2’s hit program.
Sporting a white, strapless dress, Demi, 21, explained how she managed to appear on what she described as “her favourite show.”
Excited to recall the moment that would soon change her life, the style advisor said: “I was at work one day and I was scouted on Instagram and I literally screamed my head off.”
She continued: “I thought I’m never gonna get on there, but I went to my audition and it just went on and on from there and I became a bombshell, next thing I know I’m walking into the Love Island villa.”
The questions kept coming and another fan quizzed her about her relationship status with 24-year-old Luke M.
“Me and Luke are doing so good since leaving the villa, I actually feel like we’ve become closer,” she explained.
“I don’t really know how that’s happened because we’re not together all the time, but distance makes the heart grow fonder.”
She went on to say that things are still going very well between the pair and gave a cheeky wink as she sent a message to the 24-year-old, saying that it’s down to him to “pop the question.”
This is good news for fans of the couple, as their fellow Islander Callum Jones named them as the first couple to potentially split.

But the pair didn’t let his words get them down and they shared a cosy snap after enjoying a night in together in a Park Plaza hotel in London .

Stunning redhead Demi lives down south in Portsmouth, but new beau Luke lives in the seaside town of Redcar in the north east.
“I would say Luke and Demi, but just because of distance,” Callum explained to I Saw It First.
