LOVE Island’s Finn Tapp has revealed that he wants to propose to girlfriend Paige Turley “soon” – and they will welcome a baby before getting married.

The pair won the first ever winter version of the show earlier this year, and recently moved into a Manchester flat together after spending three months living with her parents in Scotland.

But all that time with the in-laws didn’t put 20-year-old Finn off the romance, with the couple now stronger than ever.

Speaking in a new interview, the hunk explained: “I’m not going to wait – I want to propose soon! I don’t want to say a timescale as it’s going to be a surprise.

“Now all I have to do is ask for Paige’s dad’s blessing! I’ve got a few ideas about how I’d propose.”

Before the wedding, he and 22-year-old Paige hope to have their first child, with Finn continuing to OK! magazine: “We’ve spoken about the order we’d like to do things.

“We’d like to get engaged, have a long engagement and in that time have a baby.

“I want a baby at my wedding and for them to be in the photos. We could put him in a suit.”

The pair also reflected on spending the majority of the year in each other’s company, having gone from the Love Island villa, to lockdown at Paige’s family home, to their new apartment.

Paige admitted that Finn not joining her in Scotland would have put “a lot of stress” on their romance, and the quality time has made them stronger.

They are now more loved-up than ever

She explained: “This has brought us so much closer together. How we met was strange enough, so it’s been nice to just have time together.

“A lot of couples say their schedules get in the way and they never see each other. This has certainly been a bit of a blessing in disguise for us.”

The blonde beauty added: “You’d have thought we’d be wanting to kill each other by now but we’ve still been glued to each other. We’re always together.”

Paige and Finn are one of the few surviving couples from winter Love Island, with fellow finalists Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman also going strong and renting a flat in Manchester together.

Others have been torn apart by lockdown, with Ched Uzor admitting that not being able to see Jess Gale had triggered their break-up, whereas Demi Jones claimed that Luke Mabbott didn’t make enough effort in their long-distance relationship.
