LOVE Island voiceover star Iain Stirling has called Connor Durman “toxic” and “angry”after the lad lost his temper with Sophie Piper again last night.

The 25-year-old from Brighton exploded at Rochelle Humes’ sisterfor “celebrating” about the new bombshells arriving.

Connor Durman was left fuming when jealousy got the better of him

The moment outraged viewers – and it seems 31-year-old Iain was none too happy either, laying in to him on Capital Breakfast today.

He said: “He gets a bit angry very quickly, doesnt he? He was talking to Sophie last night through gritted veneers.

“I think theres a little bit of sort-of toxic masculinity going on there a bit, man.

“Its not a nice trait, and its a trait that a lot of men demonstrate and its a thing that a lot of men need to work on.”

Sophie and Connor had a tense talk during last night’s Love Island

Love Island’s Iain Stirling made a rare criticism of the ‘angry’ lad

Things turned sour last night when Connor spied Sophie – with whom he is coupled up – throwing her hands in the air and a big smile on her face when it was announced two new boys were joining the villa.

Unable to let it go, Connor asked Sophie for a chat – and it ended with him storming off in a huff.

One fan tweeted: “Connor is giving me all the psycho vibes, so controlling” while another wrote: “Warning signals from the start with him.”

But he is set to get his comeuppance tonight, when Sophie is chosen to go on a date with a Love Island newbie – with the same name.

Connor has become unpopular with viewers for losing it with Sophie

He earlier complained to her, saying: ‘You’re digging me out’

A sneak preview shows her asking Connagh Howard: “So who’s going to be Connor one and two?”

He replies: “Well obviously I want to be number one.”

Meanwhile, back at the villa, Connor Durman was shown holding his head in the Beach Hut, whining: “I’m stressing out.”

Connagh will join the show tonight with recruitment consultant and footballer Finley Tapp.

Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp is on weekdays from 6-10am
