LOVE Island’s Laura Anderson posted a video of her tummy on Instagram today after hitting out trolls who said she was “too skinny”.

Yesterday, the 31-year-old warned cruel bodyshaming trolls to back off as she shared an “extremely thin” photo to her social media.

In light of furore, the Scottish beauty took to Instagram again to show her followers the difference between her holding in her stomach and out.

In a video taken from her recent Barcelona break, Laura was clad in an orange bikini and began squeezing her stomach.

“Looking very skinny,” she said holding her tummy taut before letting it go and making a hilarious sound, much to her beau Tom’s amusement.

The influencer finished off her body positive video by grabbing her stomach and saying, “hello”.

The ITV2 star captioned the post, “Hello ”, and received a flood of messages from followers who branded her “beautiful” and “hilarious”

Laura’s post comes a day after she warned cruel bodyshaming trolls to back off as she shared an “extremely thin” photo to her Instagram page.

The reality TV star admitted that she almost didn’t post the snap because she was so worried about what people would say, before vowing to “promote body acceptance”.

The sun-drenched picture was taken during Laura’s luxury Barcelona holiday, with the Scottish beauty teaming a baby blue bikini top with a pair of tiny denim hot pants.

She has completed the look with a fluffy blue hair scrunchie, oversized sunglasses, and red sandals, and is leaning on a railing above a picturesque beach with the ocean glittering in the background.

Drawing attention to her frame in the snap, Laura’s caption began: “I hesitated to post this photo as I look extremely thin and we all know any trolling against your body, whatever shape is never fun.”

She continued: “Reality is pictures can be deceiving and I really want to highlight this on here today. It’s just a picture, an angle, lighting, maybe a filter.

“We are all now so easily influenced, more ambitious with our lives you could say but in turn sometimes we’ve become more insecure.

“We are not in competition with each other especially not on Instagram and especially not with people we don’t even know so when I see something I ‘like’ I try to be happy for that person and think of it as inspiration instead of resentment or jealousy.

“This is one of the ways I’ve found to survive on social media. So let’s try not to be so offended by each other’s content, let’s not take a photo so seriously or pull the negative from it. Like in real life we don’t know the full story.

“For example I like this photo because it’s a happy memory of Tom’s and I’s favourite day of our holiday together but I know my body ‘at this angle’ will be at the forefront of some Susan’s mouths out there, am I right or am I right? (Sorry if you’re name is Susan)”.

Laura went on to insist that the photo wasn’t a true reflection of her current size, adding: “On the flip side, we all naturally choose the best photos of ourselves, is this a crime? Can pictures be too deceiving?

“How can you please everyone? This photo is even deceiving to me as I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been but I look like a bean pole above (nothing wrong with being a bean pole to my fellow long limbed angels out there).

“I shouldn’t have to mention my weight and neither should you. I just knew it would be discussed negatively below today if I didn’t. I want to promote body acceptance

“I praise those who share unflattering images of themselves and I vouch now to do the same, would you? We are all influential to someone therefore we have a responsibility to make our Instagram ‘community’ a more real and kinder place.

“This weeks Goal: To have the confidence to show different versions of you. It’s our flaws that make us who we are so if we’re here to share then let’s share the real you ”.

Laura was praised for her words on the photo’s comments, with one fan writing: “A great message to share with everyone ”.

Another added: “If you have a good healthy body you are proud of don’t ever be ashamed to show it. Whatever your shape”.

Laura shot to fame on the 2018 series of Love Island, where she was left heartbroken when partner Wes Nelson dumped her for Megan Barton-Hanson.

Thankfully her love life has gone from strength to strength, and she is currently loved-up with new beau Tom Brazier.
