LOVE Island’s Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan are officially a couple after finding love in lockdown on mini break.

The winter series star faced heartbreak earlier this year as his fledgling romance with Demi Jones ended – partly due to being separated in lockdown.

HOAR Online can exclusively reveal Luke M has moved onto fellow Love Island star Lucie and they’ve even enjoyed a romantic weekend away together.

A source exclusively tells HOAR Online: “They were messaging each other over Instagram during lockdown and as the rules relaxed their romance blossomed!

“Luke wasn’t single for long after he split with his ex Demi and Lucie is his dream woman – he can’t believe his luck.”

While they’ve kept the relationship hidden for now, the pair have been posting Instagram pics from the same location – essentially confirming their relationship to fans.

Not only is the same field and trees posted on both their social media, but the exact same hot tub too.

In May, Winter Love Island star Demi Jones split with Luke M after she claimed he put “little effort” into their relationship.

The stylish influencer and heating engineer were never official despite coming out of the sun-soaked villa as a couple, and she has revealed the lack of communication during the coronavirus pandemic sealed their fate.

The Sun Online exclusively confirmed their split at the time.

Demi, 21, revealed how social distancing and the 312 miles between her Portsmouth home and the Justin Bieber look-a-like’s pad in Redcar played its part.

Yet it was his lack of response to her messages which proved the biggest issue.

Demi told the MailOnline: “We’ve completely called it off now, I think it was brought about more from his behalf than mine, but we’re mutual and friendly.

“With lockdown, it drove us apart and we live so far away from each other.

“I feel like there wasn’t a lot of effort made with communication, so we drifted as a result.

“It’s a shame and bad timing.”

Meanwhile, Lucie split with her Love Island boyfriend Joe Garrett late last year.

The pair were separated on the summer show when Joe was voted out, but coupled in real life afterwards.

However, they split after footage emerged of winner Amber Gill getting close and personal with Joe in a nightclub.
