LOVE Island star Olivia Bowen has shown fans her swanky new kitchen at her £1m Essex love nest.

The reality TV star – who is married to former Islander Alex Bowen – gave their pad a makeover by changing the lounge for the kitchen.

Olivia and Alex’s dream kitchen/living room is now complete

Looking ready to entertain their fellow TV friends, the stunning new area features olive cabinets, a breakfast bar, luxurious granite work surfaces and a sleek herringbone oak floor with under foot heating.

She wrote on their joint home page on Instagram: “WE’RE IN! It’s so difficult to get a photo to show you guys really how beautiful this room is in all its glory, I can’t seem to capture it – I’ll keep trying though obv.

“I think maybe it’s because it’s a feeling rather than a look. This was our first big project on the house & kitchens are my FAVOURITE room.

“I really just wanted everything to be perfect & it has actually come out exactly how I imagined it, which hasn’t really happened before.

“I’m quite overwhelmed actually however silly that may sound to some!

“There is still little bits to go like the armchair, coffee table, glass shelves, curtains etc BUT it’s finally useable!

“This is now officially our kitchen, living & dining space. Thanks guys for all your support along the way!

“Least that’s 1 room done, 718246 more to go… P.S look how cute Winnie is.”

Olivia shared the stunning photo along with her cute dog, Winnie, lying on the couch.

The rest of the room looked as sophisticated and chic featuring a neutral tone running throughout.

A few pops of colour were highlighted through the soft furnishings and a lovely green olive tree on the side of the spacious room.

The former Love Island pair moved into the property together back in February  – and a lot has changed since they first walked through the doors.

Since moving in the pair have kept their fans up to date with the progress on their dedicated home interior account which boasts 540k followers on Instagram.

The large open space boasts light grey cupboards, white marble work tops and a huge sliding door that opens out onto their spacious garden.

Just six months ago the reality star, 26, shared a snap of herself alongside husband Alex, 28, outside their first pad to announce the happy news that they were finally moving into their dream home.

The house is also complete with a massive garden, which is the ideal space for French bulldogs Reggie and Winnie to play, a hot tub, a huge garden, a sweeping staircase and a huge main bedroom.

The couple’s relationship has gone from strength to strength since they first locked eyes at each other during the second series of Love Island in 2016.

Just five months after leaving the villa Alex proposed to the beauty during a romantic holiday in New York.

They became the first couple from the ITV2 dating show to wed as they tied the knot in Gosfield Hall, Essex, in September 2018.
