LOVE Island’s Olivia Bowen has shown off the incredible transformation with before and after photos of their £1m Essex home renovation.

The reality star has been working hard with husband Alex to transform their house into a plush family home complete with stables, chandeliers and a huge double shower.

Alex and Olivia Bowen have poured their heart and soul into revamping their home

Posting a selection of videos and photos to their specific house Instagram account, Olivia and Alex have been sharing a series of the progress of the renovation to their huge house.

Among the changes are the impressive hallway with a wide sweeping staircase.

The before and after photos show Olivia and Alex have chosen to get rid of the outdated tiled floor and replace them with pale herringbone wooden floorboards.

They’ve also added tonnes of light to the area by swapping out the heavy dark wood and deep blue carpet, for chic white and grey tones, uplighting on the walls and even adding in skirting boards and covings.

The change has been dramatic

Taking the stairs up to the second floor, the reality star couple have added some bling in the form of a stunning chandelier.

The crystal lighting sits directly in front of the window catching the natural light and sharing it around the area.

Other photos show just how much time and effort the couple have put into changing their home with some rooms getting a complete makeover with changes to the shape and amount of windows.

The previous owners of the home had clearly been big fans of royal blue, as they’d chosen carpet in that particular shade throughout the two-storey house.

Now it’s all pale wooden floors and lots of white to welcome guests

Now there is a soft grey pile on the top floor that is perfect for the couple’s many dogs and looks striking against the white walls and doors.

There are lots of little details around the house with quirky light bulbs and sensuous art on the walls.

Country lovers Olivia and Alex are clearly keen to bring the outside in, with many plants and potted trees decorating the home.

One of the many exceptional rooms in the house is the couple’s master bathroom with a huge wet room that contains a massive double shower, his and her basins and loads of storage space for all of their beauty bits and pieces.

But it’s completely changed with fresh white walls, chic radiators and neutral carpets

When lockdown is over and Olivia and Alex are allowed to have friends and family over again, they’ll be able to entertain in the massive open plan kitchen and dining area.

The pale herringbone floorboards from the hallway have continued into the spacious room, which has been separated with a tasteful island in the kitchen area, large glass patio doors and cosy cream sofas.

Looking at the before photos it’s super impressive to see just how much that room in particular has changed.

The rooms are now light and airy

Gone are the many windows, which have been replaced with larger glass areas to maximise space.

Olivia and Alex Bowen, moved into their £1million mansion in Essex last year, and they have now completed renovations with a marble kitchen, huge staircase and four-tier chandelier.

The couple, who met on the 2016 series, have been recently showing off their extensive home renovations on Instagram – including a Love Island-style outdoor fire pit.

The couple added in a hot tub to their country mansion – great idea!
