LOVE Island stars Tom Clare and Samie Elishi have responded to Casey O’Gorman after what appeared to be a savage swipe in an Instagram comment.
Samie and Tom, who placed third in the finale of this year’s winter series, treated themselves to a date night on Tuesday.

Heading to Shoreditch’s popular Italian restaurant Gloria Trattoria, the couple beamed as they sipped on cocktails and posed for a photo together.
Samie looked her usual glam self as she put her arm around the waist of Tom in a cutaway little black dress, while Tom cut a more casual figure in a white All Saints t-shirt and a pair of jeans.
Captioning the pic: “My favourite place with my favourite person”, things got a little awkward when Casey O’Gorman, their pal from the series, commented declaring them “Shrek and Donkey”.
Thankfully, Samie took it in good spirits, declaring Casey “Lord Farquard” in response – the villain of the beloved animation.
Casey later lingered in the comments section of the picture, telling one fan that he had “warned Tom” not to go out so underdressed in comparison to his chic girlfriend.
Sam and Tom have been inseparable since returning to the UK last week, falling just shy of winning the £50,000 Love Island prize.
Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned the series champions, with Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins placing second.
Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad came fourth.
Casey was dumped from the island alongside Rosie Seabrook, who announced yesterday they had split just over a week after returning home.
During an Instagram Q+A, Casey was questioned on his relationship status, and declared: “Rosie and I have spoken… she’s such a great girl.
“Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward!”
