SCOTT Thomas has opened up on the work that went into his jaw-dropping body transformation after losing two and a half stone.

The Love Island 2016 star embarked on a wellness journey where he gained weight in order to build up his muscle, then lost the excess weight while retaining the new muscle mass.

In 2020 Scott launched his passion project Food4Thoughts – a business dedicated to finding a bespoke way to achieving body or weight loss goals – with his schoolfriend Eden Thomas.

“I’ve always been naturally skinny, so I decided to go on a bulking programme with Food4Thoughts, and that involved me having to put on about 2.5 stone which, in turn, means you put on some fat as well as muscle mass – and that’s what I did,” he told Ok.

“I literally went up 2.5 stone and I got to that point and, I wanted to be living proof that you can lose it and maintain the muscle that you’ve built.”

“I did a body transformation in 2020 which led me to launch Food4Thoughts. Basically, a lot of people know the well known saying that it’s 80% diet, and 20% exercise, but a lot of us turn up to the gym, get a personal trainer and we neglect the food and the nutrition.”

He added: “That’s the biggest part. So my friend taught me all about nutrition and he became my nutricoach. Long story short, over time, we launched Food4Thoughts and we now provide nutricoaches to all these different people.”

The TV star also opened up on rumours he was dating fellow Love Islander Mary Bedford.

Scott Thomas reveals jaw-dropping body transformation after 2.5st weight loss

Scott, 33, cuddled up to 2021 Love Island contestant Mary at Stormzy’s recent gig in Manchester.

Sharing their cosy picture on Instagram, Scott gushed: “What a show! What a night.”

But he revealed the pair were just friends.

“I know there’s been some stories about it but no, I manage Mary Bedford at The Social PR and the picture that was posted was at a work event with The Couture Club, so that’s kind of been escalated,” Scott explained.

During his stint on Love Island, Scott began dating fellow contestant Kady McDermott and they went on to finish the second series in third place.

But although they seemed loved-up, the couple’s romance did not last the distance and they split 18 months later.
