LOVE Island’s Shaughna Phillips has hinted at a potential romance with Jack Fincham and begged I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here bosses to sign her up so she can “shed some pounds”.
The 25-year-old, who first shot to fame on the popular ITV dating show earlier this year, has lifted the lid on what’s been going on between her and the cheeky Essex lad, 26.
After spotting the beauty on his TV screen in January, the former pens salesman revealed that he was keen to ask the her out on a date.
And speaking exclusively to HOAR Online, Shaughna hinted the romance could have progressed, teasing “that would be telling.”
Without giving too much away, she’s given a glimpse of hope that the pair may spark up a budding romance in the near future.
She added: “We’re on the same agent company so I’m sure we’ll be bumping into each other…”
The beauty returned to the UK back in February after her stint on Love Island, and just three weeks later she was put straight into lockdown with rest of the UK.
Many of the cast didn’t get half as much work compared previous islanders due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
But lucky for Shaughna, she’s kept herself busy and launched her very own range with popular fashion brand In The Style.
Although she did confess that one TV appearance she definitely has her eye on is taking part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
When asked what her dream TV job would be, the former democratic services officer replied: “I just love watching I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
“[I don’t] like the thought of jumping out of a helicopter or having a spider anywhere near me… but the weight loss, that does kind of outweigh it all.”
The star, who recently underwent liposuction on her legs after being diagnosed with lipoedema, added that she doesn’t ever get worried about her weight.
But the idea of dropping a dress size without putting in a lot of physical effort sounds like a dream.
“But I mean, anything that can help shift a few pounds – I’m all down for.
“They won’t even need to pay me a fee, just tell me how much weight I’m going to lose!” she joked.
Despite being unlucky in love this year Shaughna has teamed up with Towie star Pete Wicks, 31, to hand out advice on Mike’s Hard Seltzer love hotline.
Speaking about the bond that the pair have created since dishing out help, she confessed: “He’s so fun. Honestly.
“He makes me cry with laughter. And I think we kind of had the same kind of humour. So it worked really well.”
The London lass thinks that the reason the pair haven’t found love is because they’ve been eying up the wrong people.
She added: “I don’t know. I think we both pretty sloppy, and we probably both have gone for for the wrong kind of types before I don’t know.
“I mean, he’s, he’s got age on me. So, I’m hoping that I’ve still got some chances….”
Shaughna loves giving out advice and admitted that her favourite kind of pleas for help are things to do with dating as she can definitely relate to them.
“Once you’ve been on a date, or one or two dates, and you’re kind of at the ‘do I take my make-up off stage?’ or ‘should I go to the toilet at their house stage?’ That’s my forte.”
