MOLLY-Mae Hague has revealed how her parents’ divorce has made Christmas a “tricky” time for her.

The 22-year-old admitted she wasn’t “obsessed” with the festive season as she splits her time between her mum and dad’s respective homes in Hertfordshire.

The reality star said it’s tough being away from boyfriend Tommy Fury when she spends Christmas between her parents’ homes

Although she enjoys catching up with her family down South, the Love Island star explained that it means she doesn’t get to see boyfriend Tommy Fury over the Christmas period.

Speaking on her YouTube, she said: “I don’t obsess over Christmas, I’m not massively into Christmas.

“Don’t get me wrong I do like it but I’m not obsessed with it.

“I think when you come from a split household Christmas is always a little bit different,” she continued.

“I want to make sure that I spend the time with my family, but when my family are doing their own two different places, it’s always a little bit tricky.

“I like to see Tommy and his family at Christmas but because my family are down south, I don’t really get to do that.”

Molly’s mum Debbie Gordon married her long-term partner Jon Rayner in July with the reality TV star and her older sister Zoe acting as bridesmaids on the day.

Zoe, 25, serves in the military medical corps – a part of the army which is responsible for the health of serving soldiers.

Meanwhile, the star’s dad Molly’s father Stephen Hague also remarried and is happily married to Carla Nation-Hague.

Elsewhere, Molly-Mae revealed how she trusts beau Tommy “not to cheat” despite them rarely seeing each other.

The reality TV favourite – who rose to fame with boxer Tommy, 22, in 2019, on the ITV2 dating show – admitted they had become “really good at long distance”.

Molly-Mae, 22, opened up on the Diary of a CEO podcast, hinting that she and her beau may be ready to take their relationship to the next level.

The star detailed how despite the pair spending “weeks on end” apart, having “trust” means she never worried about him being “around a load of girls”.

“We don’t see each other for weeks on end at the moment,” Molly-Mae explained. “We’ve become really good at the long distance thing, I don’t know why.

“One thing that I find so key in our relationship, and it’s the most important thing in any relationship, is trust. We have complete and utter trust in one another.

“He could literally go away for weeks on end and there’s not a doubt in my mind that if he was to be around a load of girls, I could sleep peacefully at night knowing that he’s for me and I’m for him and that’s that.”

The star added that she felt all they needed to survive the tough times apart was “trust”, concluding: “You’ve got trust, you’ve got everything.”
