OLIVIA Attwood has urged fans to unfollow celebs in Dubai as she insisted that she is working more than any of them from her home in Manchester.

The 29-year-old Love Island star won praise earlier this week when she lashed out at Instagram influencers who’d jetted abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Olivia has urged fans to hit influencers in Dubai where it hurts and press ‘unfollow’

And now she has spoken out on the best way that people can show the stars in question their outrage – advising them to hit them where it hurts.

She shared: “The way to hurt people is silence because actually, when you are commenting on someone’s photo, even if it’s a bad negative comment, you’re still drumming up interaction on that post.

“When a brand comes to ask for a post, they will speak to my agent and say: ‘Let’s see what Olivia’s Instagram stats look like’.

“And then she will send them screenshots of how many people are commenting on my photos, who’s following me, who’s unfollowing me.

She has been vocal against the influencers who have gone abroad, which includes Laura Anderson

Georgia Harrison also jetted off

“So if you’re going to send out to a brand that 5,000 people have unfollowed you this week, it doesn’t look good, does it? So yeah, it makes a big difference.”

Olivia went on to once again blast the celebs who have claimed that their sun-drenched holiday in the UAE was an “essential work trip”, adding to Grazia: “I’ve been working the whole time, I’m working more than all of them.

“And I’m in Manchester, it’s raining every day – it’s not affected me one bit.”

Earlier this week, Love Island’s Laura Anderson raised eyebrows when she insisted that being an influencer is “really hard” after sharing envy-inducing Instagram posts from Dubai.

Olivia said she’s ‘earned more from Manchester’ than the stars claiming they’re working in the UAE

She ranted at the time: “This whole thing about everyone hating influencers, I’m just like f**k, this is what I do for a job at the minute. I don’t want to feel c**p.

“I’m thinking maybe, would it be a good idea to give more of an insight into the reality of being an influencer.

“I thought it would be a good idea to give an insight so people don’t hate it as much and realise how hard it is.”

Laura previously insisted that being an influencer is ‘really hard’

But Olivia, who has previously clashed with Laura, appeared to hit back at Laura’s excuses in an indirect response on her own social media page.

She said: “Some things I’ve seen legit over the past 24 hours are people on their stories saying how hard it is.

“People are losing their family members daily, they can’t pay rent and their businesses they’ve worked their f***ing b*****ks off for are crumbling around them and you’re on the beach telling us ‘you don’t know how hard it is’.

Olivia has said stars should be more transparent about their holidays

“I’m not saying I won’t be going away, but I won’t be telling you I’m going for work, I’ll just be honest because this country sucks f***ing d**k and I’m out.”

It came days after Olivia started lashing out at celebrities taking lavish holidays and dubbing them “work” on their social media.

She previously told fans: “It’s the constant ‘I’m working, not on holiday’ shout. There is a difference from being able to earn money wherever you are to being there for work.

“Whenever I go on holiday I’ll post content which I can monetise. I’m still on holiday. I don’t go ‘Oh me and Brad have had the most amazing week in Portugal but don’t worry I was flat out working’. You just sound so stupid.”
