PETER Andre has shared his concerns of daughter Princess, 15, ‘growing up too fast.”

The 49-year-old singer, who has said a firm “no” to daughter Princess going on Love Island, made the comments after the backlash to her recent glam makeup pic.

The 15-year-old divided followers with a new look that consisted of heavy makeup and a ballgown.

The snap was shared on Instagram by hair stylist Joel Maguire and Princess’s mum Katie Price who gushed over her daughter.

Princess was dressed up to be bridesmaid her aunt Sophie’s wedding and slammed trolls who criticised her: “All these comments about makeup. It was a wedding. But I do appreciate the people being nice.”

Her dad spoke out about Princess’ new look saying she was “growing up way too fast” and he would only allow her to attend certain glitzy events such as the recent Caudwell Children’s charity Butterfly Ball.

“This is an important one, it’s like Pride of Britain’s important and Caudwell Children’s important,” he told Daily Star.

“Ones that are about other people and about helping other people and unsung heroes is part of Pride of Britain, these are all so unsung heroes because these kids through thick and thin and all these trials and tribulations, smiling and trying to get through with the help of everyone that’s donated.”

Despite his concerns Pete said he was becoming “less strict” as his older kids, Junior, 17, and Princess grow up.

Peter was joined by wife Emily and kids Junior and Princess on the red carpet at the Caudwell Butterfly Ball, and told HOAR: “It’s hard because you’re so strict as a parent, but as time goes on you start letting the reigns go a little bit.

“You don’t want to let them go too much too quick.”

Peter said that Love Island “doesn’t exist” in his household and he wouldn’t let Princess go on the show now, but he did admit he’d prefer if she “hosted” the hit reality series instead.

Love Island to one side, there is one show he wouldn’t mind his kids going on and it’s one close to the Grease star’s heart – I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

Asked if he’d ever want his kids, Princess and Junior, to go on the reality show that Pete met their mum Katie Price on, he said: “I think that’s a good one because it has challenges and you can fight for you food and things. It has that survival aspect to it.”

Peter was on the hit show in 2004 and he and Katie grew close while in the jungle together.

The couple went on to get married in a fairytale wedding at Highclere Castle, the home of Downton Abbey.

They welcomed two children, Junior and Princess, together, but got divorced after four years in 2009.
