Olivia has previously opened up on having an underactive thyroid.

Doctors pinpointed the issue at the age of 10, with her mum and nan having the same medical issue.

She previously told OK!: “It’s really weird because I never thought it was a big deal before because I was diagnosed when I was 10.

“My mum noticed a lump in my throat which is where the thyroid gland is.

“If it’s over or under active it swells. Luckily it was nothing worse, and the immediate thought when you spot a lump is cancer. “

She added: “There are so many symptoms with an underactive thyroid that can be put down to other things, so it all gets a bit lost in translation.

“But if you are feeling fatigued, if you cant get out of bed or you’re feeling depressed and you don’t really know why even feeling cold for no reason book an appointment and talk to your doctor. “

Back in 2020, she told Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch celebrity surgery episode how she had slacked with taking her thyroid meds.

Olivia worried about the effects on her fertility.

She told the episode: “I have a lot of people asking me, ‘when are you going to have kids, when do you want to get pregnant?’

“In the back of my head, I’m like ‘Can I?’, because I’ve been so irresponsible.”

At the time, she added: “I know how much Alex wants to have kids, so that’s another reason why I need to be a bit more on it and careful, and make sure I’m giving us both the chances.”

In January, Olivia revealed she was expecting her first baby with Alex.

The couple took to social media on New Year’s Day to share the happy news, with Alex, 30, posting a picture featuring baby-related Polaroids.

He captioned the picture: “This year we get to meet Baby Bowen.”

One shot saw Alex kissing Olivia’s growing baby bump, while another saw the couple posing with a pair of baby boots.
