TOWIE’S Vas J Morgan hit out at Love Island’s Connor Durham over his ‘fake apology’ for a series of racist texts he sent his ex-girlfriend Stevie-Leigh Pich.

Vas, 31, posted text exchange between Connor and Stevie-Leigh on his Instagram where the Love Island star calls her “rank, a s**t and a s**g” for dating black men.

Vas J Morgan, 31, has called out Connor Durham for his “bogus apology” over racist texts he sent

The Love Tings magazine editor asked Connor to “educate himself” over the racism in his texts.

Vas shared the screenshots of the text exchange after it appeared on social media and said he was doing so to call for Connor’s “inappropriate and racist” comments.

Vas shared: “Firstly, I would like to make it clear that I am NOT posting these messages to shame @connordurman or prompt more hate.

“I want to enforce that men like this do not need trolling, they need educating. I am posting these messages because you don’t get to apologize without context and get sympathy.”

He also said she was rank and a s**g

Vas said Connor’s apology was “bogus”

Vas went on to explain: “This was NOT a heated argument with an ex girlfriend, this was a racist attack that you launched MANY times on MANY occasions. And not just with her.

“You don’t get to say “you’ve changed” and that “you’re sorry” just because you got caught. If you’re really sorry.

“Please explain what you’ve done to educate yourself, what prompted this change? How have you changed? What exactly have you learned? Have you apologized personally to the girl who received these messages?”

Vas shared how he had white female friends tell him they’d had similar experiences and that he’d overheard similar conversations on the set of Towie.

He argued how Connor’s “bogus public apology brought back so much trauma”.

Vas wrote: “From the many times I’ve heard my white girlfriends be told similar things, from the many conversations I heard on set of TOWIE with similar context.”

He ended his post with a call to action: “So to my white male friends. You’ll know who you are. Me allowing this to slide ENDS NOW! if we’re Grimm and disgusting to you. That includes me.”

“No I’m not “different” to the rest I’m a proud black man, it’s time for you to see that. Because we have had enough. To Connor, you don’t just get to apologize when you got caught.”

Vas explained why he thought Connor’s apology was shallow and fake

Earlier this week, Connor issued an apology after racist text messages from January surfaced.

He said: “During my time in lockdown and seeing the BLM movement it has given me time to reflect on my past and comments made during a heated conversation between myself and my ex girlfriend before my time in Love Island in 2019.

“Firstly I would like to say I’m extremely sorry for my inappropriate and racist remarks written in the message….

“The movement has my full support and it’s helped educate me personally along with millions globally, which I believe is one of the many changes the BLM movement are protesting for.

Stevie and Connor dated for three years

“Finally, I would like to add because of the BLM movement, I plan to use my influence and social platforms positively, expressing in line with the peaceful protests that it is time for a permanent change.”

Vas recently accused the ITVBe reality show of “systematic racism” as he claimed to be treated differently to his white cast mates.

The 31-year-old star has also said that as the only black male cast member he was used as a “stereotype”, and that he regularly heard offensive language being used throughout his experience on the show.

Vas, who appeared on The Only Way Is Essex between 2014 and 2018, said that he decided to go public with his experience after noticing that the show’s official Instagram page was deleting his comments under their Black Lives Matter post.

The star explained that he responded to racist remarks from trolls under the photo in a bid to educate them – and was alarmed when he saw that his replies were disappearing.
