DEMI Jones found fame in 2020 after she appeared on the winter edition of reality dating show Love Island.

The 23-year-old star is now set to appear on ITV’s Strictly The Real Full Monty, which will see her strip off in the hopes of raising awareness of cancer.

Who is Demi Jones?

Demi Jones was just 21 years old when she entered the Winter Love Island villa in 2020.

At the time, Demi was a student pursuing a degree in Archaeology and History at the University of Winchester.

She’s since become a full-time social media influencer.

In May 2021, the star – now 23 – revealed that she had been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and that she would need surgery to remove not only the tumour but the entirety of her thyroid.

She’s since been sharing her journey online and recently revealed that the treatment has left her feeling “tired all the time.”

Who is she dating?

On Love Island, Demi Jones coupled up with Nas Majeed at first, but was left heartbroken when he decided to couple up with Casa Amor contestant Eva Zapico instead.

Demi then coupled up with latecomer Luke Mabbott, who she remained with until the end of the show.

However, their romance didn’t last long and they split just weeks after leaving the villa.

He’s since gotten engaged to 2019 Love Island star Lucie Donlan.

In 2021, Demi was linked to music boss Miami, but she’s never officially confirmed the relationship.

What other shows has she been in?

Demi began her TV career as a contestant on the 2020 series of Love Island, set in South Africa.

She eventually came third alongside her now-ex-boyfriend Luke Mabbott.

Since then, Demi’s also appeared on the show’s spin-off, AfterSun, and in Stand Up To Cancer’s campaign.

The 23-year-old star is now set to strip off in order to raise awareness of cancer symptoms on Strictly The Real Full Monty, which starts on ITV at 9pm on December 13, 2021.
