LOVE Island star Sophie Piper may look familiar to some fans – probably because she’s a spitting image of her celebrity sister Rochelle Humes.

The reality TV newbie is hoping to find her Marvin in the villa – but what exactly is her type on paper?

Who is Love Islands Sophie Piper?

Sophie is a 23-year-old medical PA from Essex.

The Love Island star was apparently in talks to be on the 2019 series, however, plans for her to head into the villa didn’t work out.

Of course, she didn’t lose much sleep over that as she’s now on the first ever series of Love Island in South Africa.

The Sun actually revealed back in April 2019 that Love Island producers were desperate to sign Sophie up.

An insider said at the time: ITV2 bosses are really keen for Soph to be the star of this years series.

Last year they had Dani (Dyer) and her claim to fame with dad Danny captured viewers and boasted the shows ratings.

This year theyre hoping to do the same with Rochelle and her youngest sister, whos the spitting image of her.

Soph is the perfect Islander shes incredibly beautiful and loves meeting new people after already doing a season in Ibiza.”

In addition to Rochelle, Sophie has one other sister Lilli Piper – on her dad’s side.

However, Sophie and Rochelle were raised by their mother and footballer uncle Paul Ince.

How does Sophie Piper describe herself?

According to Sophie, she is “kind, fun and energetic” – however, she’s warned we may see a different side to her if she doesn’t get her necessary eight hours of sleep every night.

“If I could have a nap now I would. I literally would sleep anywhere,” she joked.

Sophie also says she’s a good friend.

Opening up about her views on girl code, she added: “I would never do anything [bad] to my close friends.

“Obviously I know its different because in the villa, you could know people for a handful of days and everyone expects you to do girl code.

“I just think its about going about things the right way and being friendly.”

What is Sophie Piper’s type on paper?

Sophie’s celebrity crush is boxer Anthony Joshua – however, it’s not all about the looks.

When asked what she’s looking for in the villa, the star added: “Someone kind with something about them, someone who doesnt take themselves too seriously. I like confident but not cocky. Tall, tanned and light eyes.”

But don’t expect her to fall head over heels at first sight as Sophie prefers relationships that are slow burners.

She explained: “It takes me a while to like someone, but when I do like someone I really like them. So if I met someone and I was still like, oh hes nice but not 100%, youd probably be able to see that.

“If someone did come in and I preferred him Id have to make it clear.”

What has happened to Sophie on Love Island so far?

Sophie has so far been coupled up with two boys in the villa who have both since left.

First was Connor Durman, the pair coupled up on day one and things seemed to be going well.

However, her pretty looks and bubbly personality caught the eye of Connagh Howard and the model chose to couple up with her.

In a recoupling afterwards, Sophie chose to go back to Connor but soon after he was dumped from the island.
