ZARA McDermott looked stressed as she spoke during a tense phonecall following her split from boyfriend Sam Thompson.
The Love Island star, 23, and Made in Chelsea favourite, 27, called time on their 16-month relationship after she had cheated on him with music boss Brahim Fouradi.
But to take her mind off the current stresses in her private life, Zara decided to head out into London for a spot of retail therapy.
As she strolled down the streets of the Capital, Zara chatted away on the phone at what looks like a very intense conversation.
For her outing, the reality favourite rocked an oversized checkered shirt dress from the line of her ASOS DESIGN Must-Haves.
She completed the look with some sophisticated back boots, a Gucci crossover bag and some matching gold earrings.
Zara opted for no make-up and let her long locks fall naturally into her shoulders.
Last week HOAR revealed that Sam had dumped Zara for cheating on him with the A&R manager during her stint on X Factor: Celebrity.
A source close to Zara explained: “Sam suspected quite early on that something was going on between Zara and Brahim, and there was a big confrontation.
“She was spending increasing amounts of time with him backstage, and hanging around after hours.
“Sam found out and kicked off. He’s devastated about how things have turned out.”
The pair met thanks to his job working on the show as an A&R director for Syco – but he has since left the company and is now understood to be living in Holland.
Zara appeared on X Factor: Celebrity last year appearing alongside Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty and West Nelson in group No Love Lost.
The show ran from mid-October to the end of November 2019, with the winner picking up a contract from Simon Cowell’s Syco Music.
Zara is now back at home living with her parents in Essex after Sam kicked her out of his Chelsea home.
Since the split, the Love Island beauty has been posting cryptic quotes on her social media accounts.
One said: “Your heart knows the way, run in that direction.”
While another wrote: “Love always won in the end. No matter how it happened, no matter what it took, no matter what it meant. Fair or not, true or not. Love won.
“We have all hurt someone tremendously, whether by intent or accident. We have all loved someone tremendously, whether by intent or accident.
“It is an intrinsic human trait, and a deep responsibility, I think, to be an organ and a blade. But, learning to forgive ourselves and others because we have not chosen wisely is what makes us most human.”
Meanwhile Sam has kept himself to himself since the split.
Although he did pay tribute to best pal and Towie star Pete Wicks for helping him through his heart break.
With a snap of the pair looking very dapper together, he wrote: “Thank you so much for putting up with me for the past week @p_wicks01 I’m incredibly lucky to have people I can lean on when I’m down.
“I know you’re not the soppy type, but you really are the brother I never had.
“I love you mate #WEGOAGAINgood to see I havnt aged you over the past 6 days”
Last week HOAR Online revealed that the cheating scandal will air in explosive scenes on Made in Chelsea.
Fans of the E4 will see the dramatic fallout between the couple when the E4 show returns for a new series.
A source told HOAR: “The cameras have captured the whole fallout of Zara and Sam’s dramatic split.
“It means viewers will get to see the raw emotion caused by Zara’s infidelity last year, as Sam tries to come to terms with what has happened.
“There’s going to be a lot of tears and rows as Zara fights for her relationship.”
