ALDI is bringing back its popular heated clothes airer next weekend.

The handy device means you can dry clothes indoors without forking out money for an expensive tumble dryer.

Aldi’s heated airer was a sell-out when it was last stocked

It could also be a good option if you can’t get your laundry dry on a rainy day.

The airer has 20 heated bars for you to hang your wet clothes and works by being plugged into your mains electricity supply.

It can also be folded away when you’re finished with it for easy storage.

You’ll just want to make sure you’ve got enough space for it, as the airer measures 147cm by 54cm by 94cm.

The heated airer is in stores from September 13

The nifty contraption, which costs £28.99 – the same price as last year, is in stores from this Sunday, September 13.

Use the Aldi online store finder to see where your nearest branch is.

You can also pre-order it online now, with free delivery, on the Aldi website.

A heated dryer is cheaper than running a tumble dryer – but it’s still worth considering that it will add costs to your energy bills.

Drying clothes indoors can also cause extra moisture in the air, which can in turn lead to mould, so it’s best to place it in a room where you can leave a window open.

We couldn’t find a cheaper heater clothes airer when we searched today.

For example, Wowcher sells a similar device for £27.99 but you’ll pay £4.99 on top for delivery.

Or Wilko currently stocks this version for £30 plus £5 delivery, or £2 click and collect to your nearest shop.

Aldi is also selling an over the door clothes airer that takes up less space.

One mum recently sparked a heated debate about the “correct” way to hang clothes on the line.

And a woman also recently revealed how to fix clothes which shrunk in the dryer with a hair conditioner.
