ALDI is selling a robotic vacuum cleaner for £130 and it’s a great idea if you hate scrubbing floors.

The rechargeable device takes all the effort out of cleaning your floors, and it’s small enough to fit underneath furniture.

A robotic vacuum cleaner is the latest Specialbuys product from Aldi

Aldi says its robotic vacuum takes four to six hours to fully recharge – once it’s juiced up, it’ll run for approximately 90 minutes.

It also comes with anti-collision sensors and anti-fall sensors so you don’t need to worry about it toppling down the stairs.

You can set it to automatically clean a specific route, or control its direction manually with a remote control.

Like a regular vacuum, you’ll need to empty its dust box once it’s full.

For the £129.99 price tag, you’ll get the gadget itself – which measures 32cm by 8.5cm – plus its charging base and remote control.

It also comes with a dust brush so you can keep the vacuum clean.

The Easy Home robotic vacuum is available to pre-order on the Aldi website now – it’ll then be dispatched this Thursday, August 6.

Delivery from Aldi is free on orders above £30.

Sadly, the robotic vacuum won’t be sold in Aldi stores, so you can only order it online.

And like with all Specialbuys products, it won’t be restocked once it’s sold out.

We’ve asked Aldi what type of floors it cleans, for example, if it works on both hard flooring and carpet.

HOAR is also checking how big of an area the vacuum can clean and we’ll update this article when we hear back.

However, you can find cheaper robotic vacuums by shopping around.

For example, Amazon is selling a similar gadget for £27.99 plus £1.98 delivery.

Like the Aldi version, this one lasts 90 minutes when fully charged and it can clean a maximum surface area of 180 square metres.

Other robotic vacuum prices on Amazon vary between £139 and £480, with the more expensive options including a mop feature that washes your floors.

The cheapest price we found on Argos was £249.99 plus £3.95 for delivery, or free click and collect.

Or if you’re shopping at Currys PC World, the best price you’ll find is £189.97 – delivery isn’t available on this item but you can get free click and collect in stores.

Online retailer NewTech also has a robotic vacuum for £59.99, including free delivery.
