It’s identical to rules already in force for places following Tier 3 coronavirus restrictions.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson introduced the tougher Tier 4 lockdown for London and parts of the south East of England over fears of rising coronavirus cases in these areas.

As part of Tier 4 rules, which came into force today (December 20), non-essential shops, hairdressers and beauty salons must shut.

Are pubs and restaurants open in Tier 4?
Pubs and restaurants must remain closed for dine-in customers – but they are allowed to serve takeaways.
This means you can order food or drink either for delivery, or by collecting it in person, up until 11pm.
Restaurants are also still allowed to keep their drive-thrus open, again only until 11pm.
Customers will still be able to pick up a takeaway pint as long as they have pre-ordered it.
But sadly, it means a dine-in Christmas meal out will be off the menu in Tier 4 areas.
This is because you aren’t allowed to sit inside a restaurant or pub to eat.
