BONFIRE Night 2022 is nearly upon us and that means fireworks lighting up the evening sky.

If you’re thinking about getting some this year, we’ve rounded up the supermarkets selling them.

We reveal the supermarkets selling sparklers and fireworks for Guy Fawkes night

But bear in mind, you’ll have to be at least 18.

It might be worth checking with your local council to see if it has any rules on setting them off as well, including time limits.

Plus, the supermarkets we checked with that are stocking fireworks are only doing so in-store so you’ll have to head out to your nearest branch to get some.

There are a few supermarkets that aren’t selling fireworks this year, including Sainsbury’s and M&S.

Below, we list all the ones that are.

Asda

Asda is selling everything from TNT Magic Selection boxes to sparklers

The supermarket is selling a range of fireworks and sparklers this year, and there are even low noise ones.

Prices range from 50p to £90 and they’re on sale until November 10.

Plus, customers with the Asda Rewards app can get £5 into their cashpot when they buy the TNT Blast off firework box worth £55.

If you don’t know where your nearest Asda store is, you can use the supermarket’s store locator on its website.

Lidl

Lidl is selling fireworks and sparklers starting at £1 all the way up to just under £50

There are plenty of fireworks and sparklers to choose from at Lidl and prices range from £1 to £49.99.

Shoppers can pick from the supercharged set for £49.99 to the oh so quiet low noise set for £8.99.

Lidl doesn’t do home delivery or click and collect though, so you’ll have to head to your nearest store.

If you don’t know where yours is, you can find it on Lidl’s website.

Aldi

Aldi is selling low noise fireworks for the more conscientious neighbour

Aldi is selling cosmic rockets to low noise fireworks and sparklers, with prices ranging from £1.99 to £59.99.

The German discount retailer is offering a low noise bundle for £40.96 as well which includes hawk eye rockets, a heart of gold fountain, giant gold sparklers and a reach for the stars selection box.

We’ve asked Aldi if the fireworks are available online or in-store only and will update this story when we know more.

Morrisons

Morrisons is selling fireworks and sparklers this year.

Prices range from 50p to £75 but you can only get them in-store.

If you’re looking to go all out, the supermarket has selection boxes starting at £14 and ranging up to £65 for a 40-piece set.

To find your nearest Morrisons store you can head to the store locator on its website.

Elsewhere, Sainsbury’s has banned the sale of fireworks from all its stores.

Meanwhile, a warning has been issued to some Brits near firework displays telling them to “stay inside” due to risk of debris.
