FASHION fans are being asked to stump up £1,650 for a designer clutch that looks like a giant dog poop bag.
Designers at Italian label Bottega Veneta describe the BV Twist as having a “soft sack shape with handle that looks casually knotted and slips around the wrist.”
But Brits poked fun at the bag – saying the shiny black finish and knot means it resembles a used dog poo bag.
Andrea Smith, 27, from east London, spotted the resemblance and said: “I was browsing online joking about the cost of designer bags – and nearly spat out my tea when I saw this one that was pricey and ridiculous.
“I am a dog owner myself so spend a lot of time down the dog park. When I saw the model with Bottega Veneta bag on her hand I laughed out loud.
“It reminded me of my friend casually knotting the extra large poop bags she needs to buy for her giant Great Pyrenees Barry as she heads to the bin.”
Pets at Home sells 200 dog poop bags for £1.50.

The fashion house promises the yellow “logo-embossed tote bag” will take your look from “the laundromat to the streets”.
But Twitter users have poked fun at the rubber item, comparing it to garden trugs and tubs you can get from high street shops.
One social media user found a near-identical version for £4 from B&M.
