MCDONALD’S breakfast is just too good to miss out on, it has something about it that just makes mornings better.

But you might want to order McDonald’s salty fries to kick start your day rather than have a hash brown. But can you?

Can you get fries during McDonald’s breakfast hours?

Unfortunately, if you’re in the mood to have some fries with your McDonald’s breakfast meal, you cannot.

McDonald’s do not start serving fries until after 11am when the normal menu starts along with burgers, nuggets and wraps.

Instead, you can get yourself a hash brown, which is as salty as the traditional McDonald’s fries and can be considered everyone’s favourite.

Some other snacks that McDonald’s have to fill you up in the morning are a cucumber or a melon bag while they also offer a range of sweet treats.

All drinks and dessert treats are sold during breakfast hours.

McDonald’s also offer a range of frappes, iced coolers and frozen lemonades.

As for desserts, you can find the full range of McFlurries available while there are also treats such as doughnuts, muffins and brownies available from early in the morning till late at night.

Why did McDonald’s stop serving breakfast all day?

McDonald’s claimed that they stopped serving breakfast all day because the food is cooked differently and they do not have the resources to run two different menus throughout the day.

Their website said: “Items on our breakfast menu are cooked slightly differently and at a different temperature from items on our main menu.

“This means we don’t have enough space in our kitchens to accommodate the cooking and preparation of our breakfast and main menus at the same time.

“The 11am cut off enables us to accommodate our breakfast lovers, while allowing customers who enjoy our main menu to get their food before 11.30am.”

If you go to other countries such as the United States, you will find that they do serve some breakfast items all day.

So if you’re ever visiting there, take the opportunity to get yourself some brunch!
