GOOD news Christmas fans – Home Bargains has started selling its gingerbread scented candles once again.
It means you can already get your home smelling festive if you just can’t wait until the big day.
The bargain store is selling huge 18oz candles for £2.99 – the same price as last year.
The sweet smelling candles have proven popular in recent years, with the brand, Wickford & Co, even being compared to pricier version Yankee Candles.
For example, a Yankee Candle of the same size will set you back around £15.99.
The Wickford & Co gingerbread candle has 95 hours of burn time and is described by Home Bargains as having a “sweet sugar” scent.
It appears Home Bargains is also selling smaller versions of the 18oz gingerbread candle for 99p – the same price as previous years.
We’ve also seen customers posting packs of 18 gingerbread candle tealights, which cost 99p as well.
Home Bargains has yet to confirm if the candles are out in all of its stores, but plenty of shoppers have been sharing their festive finds online.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, one customer said: “Home Bargains Christmas candles are out. £2.99 for the gingerbread flavour, smells so nice and strong.”
Replying to her post, another shopper said: “Omggg my fave!”
Another said: “Look what’s back!”
Sadly, the gingerbread candles haven’t been listed on the Home Bargains website yet.
This means you’ll need to try your luck in store – but it’s unclear if all Home Bargains shops are selling them already.
We’ve asked the bargain chain for more information and we’ll update this article when we hear back.
In the meantime, use the Home Bargains store finder to get in contact with your nearest shop.
Home Bargains has also released some sweet-sounding candy cane and sticky toffee pudding scented candles.
Tesco recently slashed the prices of Yankee candles to just £3.50.
Meanwhile Wilko has slashed the price of its Teddy Fleece bedding and it’s the perfect thing for cold winter nights.
