AN ONLINE snap used to advertise a home for sale looks a little, er, deserted — except for a camel.

House-hunters have been puzzled by the Rightmove picture, which doesn’t feature the three-bedroom pad at all.

House-hunters were puzzled by the Rightmove advert, which doesn’t feature the three-bedroom pad at all

But they tried not to get the hump over the shot in leafy Wymondham, Leics.

Referring to the £699,000 price, one viewer joked: “Didn’t know camels were so expensive.”

The detached house is described as having “open views” and “potential to expand”.

But the beast, named Camilla, is not even part of the sale.

She belongs to estate agent Vernon Moore, who lives nearby.

Vernon has a licensed menagerie of exotic animals he has taken in.

He explained: “This is a ‘discreet listing’, where the owner doesn’t want to include any photos so we just take a picture of the surrounding area.

“Our paddock was getting low on grass due to the heat, so a neighbour kindly let us put Camilla in there to graze.

“She came over to where I was standing because she was probably hoping for an extra snack.”
