You can even use the freebie to get its popular seasonal drink, the toffee nut latte, which usually costs £1.69.

Choose from a coffee, tea or hot chocolate for free at McDonald’s

Customers can find the freebie offer on the McDonald’s app when they download it for the first time.

It’s located in the “deals” section of the app.

The offer is only available if you’re picking up your drink from a McDonald’s branch, either in store or via drive thru, not if you’re getting home delivery through Uber Eats or Just Eat.

You can find your nearest McDonald’s using the store locator or in the app when you order.

If you have already signed up to the app, you won’t be able to see this free hot drink deal, but you’ll still find other money-saving offers.

At the moment there’s a deal for £15 worth of food for £10 for existing users.

New users can also get this deal, as well as treat themselves to half price off their next order.

To redeem the free hot drink offer you’ll be asked to choose where you want to pick your drink up from, and then which hot drink you want.

There’s a range of different coffee types to choose from, PG Tips tea or hot chocolate.

Depending on which drink you choose, you can save between 89p and £1.69.

And you can just order the hot drink – you don’t have to order anything else to take advantage of the deal.

This free hot drink deal was spotted by one shopper and shared on Latest Deals.

They found the end date for grabbing the free drink was 1 November but when we looked the deal was available for longer, expiring on 15 November.

We’ve asked McDonald’s to clarify how long the deal’s available for and will update this story when we hear back.

It’s always worth checking yourself when a deal ends, especially when there’s more than one available so you can work out which you need to use first so you don’t miss out.

It’s also worth checking you can get the deal at your local McDonald’s in the terms and conditions on the app because there are some branches where it’s not available.
