CAFFE Nero is giving away free hot drinks including tea, coffee and hot chocolate to O2 customers today.

The deal is available via the O2 Priority app which users can download for free on their smartphones.

Pick up a free coffee today at Caffe Nero

It’s only available today until midnight – so you’ll want to move fast if you want a free caffeine jolt.

But it’s worth noting that it’s a regular offer, so it’s likely to be back soon for o2 customers. However, the deal is strictly one code per customer per device, per week.

Prices for Caffe Nero drinks vary across the country, but you’re looking at savings of between £1.90 and £2.70 depending on what you order.

The drinks included in the deal are:

  • Iced Latte
  • Iced Americano
  • Caffè Latte
  • Cappuccino
  • Americano
  • Espresso
  • Flat White
  • Cortado
  • Mocha
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Tea

Extras, speciality drinks and all other products are excluded from the offer.

Tea is the cheapest drink, usually costing around £1.90 so that will offer the smallest savings.

Iced drinks are considered premium, so these will usually save you the most coming in at around £2.70 for an iced latte.

If you’re an O2 mobile customer you can download the app for free from the App Store or Google Play for Android.

Once the app is downloaded, simply search for Cafe Nerro and the offer should appear.

There is a time limit though once you activate the deal, so you need to make sure you’re at your local coffeeshop before you start clicking.

It might be worth making sure the staff at the till know how to redeem the voucher codes before you accept so you don’t run out of time.

If you’re not an O2 customer – you can still access priority deals, though you’ll need to invest £10 first.

Money Saving Expert has a step-by-step guide to getting O2 offers even if they are not your usual mobile provider.

First you’ll need to order a free Pay as You Go sim card from 02 – you can do this via the website.

Next, you’ll need to download the O2 Priority app – when it asks make sure you enter your new O2 number rather than your usual mobile or it won’t work.

O2 will then send you a text activation code, which you can use to get the app working. Unfortunately, the network has changed the rules so you’ll also need to top up £10 to use Priority.

Of course, since you’re shelling out £10 you need to make sure that you’ll get your money’s worth.

The coffee deal is a regular one, so if you’re a caffeine fan you could make your cash back after five Caffe Nero trips if you choose the most expensive freebies.

Other regular offers include free chocolate, bottled drinks and discounts on a range of products.

You can have a look at current and recent deals to see if it is likely to be worth your while.

Money Saving Expert says that once the app is downloaded you can remove the O2 sim card and put yours back in. This isn’t supposed to work, but tester say they’ve tried it on several unlocked handsets and it does.

If your app is vanishing when you remove your 02 sim, you’ll need to pop it back in every time you want to take advantage of an offer.
