YOU could get paid to order a takeaway this Easter weekend – here’s how.

Cashback apps including TopCashback, Quidco and Cheddar are all running special deals with delivery app Just Eat, which could slice a chunk off the cost of your next takeaway.

Here’s how to get money off your next takeaway

Each deal offers something slightly different and the best are only available for brand new Just Eat users.

But depending on what takeaway you choose this Easter, you could get paid back more than a quarter of the cost – in cash to your bank account.

To take advantage of the offers you’ll need to download a cashback app from Google Play or the App Store – they’re usually free.

To work, you will need to link an existing debit or credit card to the app.

Cheddar, TopCashback and Quidco are all regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) so your personal details are protected.

You’ll need to give a few more details plus permission for the app to access your transactions so that it knows when to grant cash back.

But after that, you’re all set.

Remember that delivery apps charge a fee for their service, and Just Eat will add between 50p and £1.99 the the cost of your order.

Some restaurants aren’t included in the cashback offers and some will also have minimum orders so check you don’t have to over-order just to secure the deal.

Here’s what you could save when you order delivery this weekend.

Cheddar

Cheddar is offering 4% cashback when you order a takeaway through Just Eat and will automatically refund your cash within seven days of your order.

To transfer the cashback to your bank account you access the cashback tab in your app and hit the redeem button.

The money should arrive within seconds, the app claims.

If your order cost £20 including service charge you’d earn 80p cashback.

TopCashback

In the best deal of the bunch, TopCashBack will pay brand new Just Eat customers 27% cashback on orders from selected restaurants.

Existing customers only get 1% cashback but even so, the app says its average member earns over £300 cashback a year.

Restaurants involved in the deal include Pizza Express and Greggs, but you can browse more once you’ve downloaded the app.

Quidco

Quidco is also offering new Just Eat customers a great deal with 25% cashback on orders. Again, existing customers earn 1%.

The deal is only available on orders from independent restaurants, but you can browse through options if you’re signed up.

For an order worth £20 with service and delivery charges included, cashback at 25% would save you £5 while 1% would save you 20p.
