M&S is selling Percy Pig mince pies for Christmas 2020 and they taste like the sweets

THESE aren’t just any mince pies – these are Marks and Spencer Percy Pig mince pies.

Instead of fruit, the “Percymas” pies are filled with Percy Pig flavoured jam and Percy Pig flavoured sponge – so they almost look like a cherry bakewell.

Percy Pig mince pies exist and they look delicious

To finish them off, the pies are then topped with Percy Pig icing and a Percy Pig sweet.

Classic Percy Pig sweets taste of raspberry and grape and are made with real fruit juice, so we expect these will have a similar flavour.

The “Percymas” mince pies, which are part of M&S’ Christmas 2020 range, are available in stores now, priced at £2 for a pack of four.

As Percy Pig is exclusive to M&S, you won’t find these on sale in another supermarket.

But if you’d rather stick to a classic mince pie, you can save money by picking up a pack of six for 89p in Tesco, or Morrisons sells a pack of six icing-topped mince pies for £1.

This isn’t the only new Percy Pig product M&S has released for Christmas.

The posh supermarket now sells giant Percy Pig toys and 1kg jars of Percy Pig sweets.

M&S has also brought back its Percy Pig advent calendar.

To stock up on Percy Pig goodies, use the M&S store finder to see where your nearest supermarket is.

We’ve asked if the Percy Pig mince pies are available to order for home delivery through Ocado and we’ll update this article when we know more.

HOAR is also checking how many calories and sugar each mince pie contains.

For individual Percy Pig sweets, expect to consume 25 calories and 6g of sugar.

Some lucky M&S shoppers are getting free Percy Pig sweets through the supermarket’s revamped loyalty scheme.

M&S is also selling light-up snow globe gin bottles as part of its Christmas 2020 range.
