ARE you suffering from “mess stress”?
According to a new survey by Argos.co.uk, 54 per cent of us have admitted to being stressed about our messy homes in lockdown.
I know that only too well and I’m still struggling to keep things tidy.
But I want to help with your “store-rage” issues. Hopefully these ideas will sort you right out.
SOCK IT TO ’EM: If you have way too many socks, a drawer divider can create calm amid the chaos.
John Lewis have a lovely one for a tenner, but instead you could save empty loo rolls and line them up vertically in your drawer.
Pop pairs in each roll and you’ve got yourself a cheap drawer divider.

The survey suggests that it’s messy bedroom floors causing the most stress so keep clutter out of sight with a bargain storage cube that’s also a seat.
Head to Dunelm for their faux linen storage cubes, currently down from £10 to £8.

STEP IT UP: Clutter on the stairs “to be taken up” is one of the other main stresses.
Be like one Saver mum and assign everyone their own storage basket on a step.
The kids are responsible for keeping it empty and you can turn it into a bit of a game.
