Andrew Hunter, co-founder of jobs board Adzuna, believes the country is turning a corner.

He says: “Hiring fell off a cliff when Covid-19 started gaining a foothold in the country in March, but job opportunities are slowly but surely returning as the country steadily crawls back to life.

“Right now, there are over half a million jobs on offer, up 52 per cent compared to the lowest point seen in May.”
