HOLIDAY MONEY: Start saving now with small, daily habits. I love the MoneyBox app — it makes saving go nearly unnoticed by rounding up spending on your debit card to the nearest pound then totting up the difference. Or use a large Smarties tube and, every time you get a £2 coin, pop it in. It all adds up.
BEDDER PREPARE: It’s much cheaper to bring your own towels and bedding, rather than hire them, which can cost up to £10. The January sales are mega, so if you want new beach towels etc, get them cheap at Asda. You can buy a large printed beach towel for £5 — a snip compared with similar at Next for £25.
