HOL’ on a moment! It feels like the summer holiday could be within reach.

And our Hols From £9.50 return today, with a Covid money-back guarantee.

Use our tips to save some spending money for your Hols From £9.50

That means you can book a break in the UK or across Europe with peace of mind — and this year you can book right up until November.

Here’s some savvy tips for saving on your break . . .

HOLIDAY MONEY: Start saving now with small, daily habits. I love the MoneyBox app — it makes saving go nearly unnoticed by rounding up spending on your debit card to the nearest pound then totting up the difference. Or use a large Smarties tube and, every time you get a £2 coin, pop it in. It all adds up.

BEDDER PREPARE: It’s much cheaper to bring your own towels and bedding, rather than hire them, which can cost up to £10. The January sales are mega, so if you want new beach towels etc, get them cheap at Asda. You can buy a large printed beach towel for £5 — a snip compared with similar at Next for £25.

SAVING: £20

QUIET MOMENTS: Kids often get restless on journeys or in quiet moments, so look out for tech deals and start stashing. The Entertainer (thetoyshop.com) has just launched its online sale where you can get 25 per cent off everything (except Lego) when spending £20. And at theworks.co.uk, you can nab a pack of cards for just £1 — a steal compared with Waddingtons No 1 Playing Cards, at Ryman.co.uk, for £2.49.

SAVING: £1.49

CLEAN UP: Shampoo, shower gel, suncream — it’s lovely to have new items for your break. But I always leave it to the last minute and end up splashing out too much. Superdrug’s own-brand Family Suncare bundle is now £12.48, down from £16.96. Or grab a bottle of Malibu Factor 30 for just £3.99 at B&M. NHS workers currently get ten per cent off.

SAVING: £4.48 on the Superdrug deal
