WILKO has slashed the prices of its artificial Christmas trees by 20% in an early festive sale – perfect if you need to buy a new one this year.

Available from today, the prices of the trees now start from £8, down from £10.

The sale includes 17 trees with heights ranging from 3ft to 7ft in various styles, so you’re bound to find something suitable to your home and wallet.

The discounts rolled out on Wilko’s website only today, October 14, and they’re available until midnight on October 27 or as long as stocks last.

To get the discount, you’ll need to add the code “TREE20” at checkout.

Just keep in mind that Wilko charges a £2 fee if you order and collect, or you’ll have to pay from £5 to have it delivered to your doorstep.

You won’t be able to get the discount in Wilko stores.

Wilko is offering the cheapest price we could find, with Homescapes selling a same-sized tree for £9.99, excluding a £3.99 delivery fee.

If you’re keen to add some extra colour to your home this Christmas, Wilko is selling a rainbow tree for £24, down from £30.

It comes with adjustable branches and measures just 66cm wide, which could come in handy if you have pets and not a lot of space.

Argos and Asda are both selling rainbow Christmas trees with the same height for £35 and £50 respectively, so you’ll save money by shopping at Wilko.

Argos lets you click and collect for free, or you’ll have to pay a £3.95 fee for standard delivery.

Asda offers free home delivery on orders of at least £50.

For shoppers who aren’t bothered to decorate, Wilko has also reduced the price of this 6ft half-flocked Christmas tree with a snow-effect by 20%.

The slightly bizarre festive fir is designed for those lacking space so you can push the back of the tree, which is flat, right up against the wall.

If you aren’t fussed about the snow-effect, Argos is selling a pre-lit half tree measuring 6ft for a cheaper £30.

You only need to add decorations to this pre-lit tree, which comes with 120 lights

This 6ft artificial tree comes pre-lit with 120 lights, so you only need to add decorations.

The tree is said to be easy to assemble with hinged branches, and you can easily put it away after Christmas to reuse next year.

Alternatively, Asda is selling a cheaper 6ft pre-lit tree with 120 lights for £25, excluding a £2.95 delivery fee.

Wilko 7ft Alaskan Fir Artificial Christmas Tree

This is the biggest Christmas tree at Wilko by measuring 7ft, and it should give you a traditional feel this festive season.
