FORMER Prime Minister David Cameron asked a Scottish TV series to be delayed until after 2014’s independence vote, it has been claimed.
Time travel blockbuster Outlander was not shown here until six months after the referendum, in which Scots decided to remain part of the UK.

Mr Cameron is said to have asked Sony to delay the premiere fearing it might boost a Yes vote.
Outlander aired in the US from August 2014 and was shown on Amazon Prime here in 2015.
A Glasgow conference will look at the history, politics, culture, language and music in the series.
Prof Willy Maley said: “There are rumours the release date was delayed because of the independence referendum.
“The view is that David Cameron met someone from Sony when he was over in the States.
“Like Braveheart in 1995, Outlander got enormous international interest in Scotland.”
