DIANE Abbott sent her race row letter twice from her own email account casting doubt on her claims it was an initial draft.

The ex-shadow Home Secretary, who has been suspended by Labour, sent identical versions three hours apart to The Observer sparking a ferocious backlash.

The revelation will put further pressure on Sir Keir Starmer to prevent the veteran MP from standing again as a candidate for the party at the next election.

She had claimed that Jewish people are subject to prejudice similar to that received by redheads in an explosive anti-Semetic letter

Abbott apologised for her remarks saying she completely disassociated herself from the comments that were published on Sunday.

Sir Keir said he “utterly condemned” the remarks and were anti-Semitic in his view.

She has requested a meeting with Rabbi Herschel Gluck in her east London constituency later this week to heal the rift.
