JUSTICE Secretary Robert Buckland has said he is “concerned” about taxpayers continuing to fund Harry and Meghan’s security after their move to Canada.

He admitted today that the Royal couple’s lifestyles will “adapt” and they will have “regular assessments of their family and security” after stepping down from their roles.

His comments come as Harry arrived this morning in Canada to join wife Meghan after completing some of his final engagements in Britain.

He is expected to return to the UK for others in the coming months, splitting his time between Britain and North America.

Meghan was snapped walking her dogs with baby Archie yesterday, looking relaxed and smiling.

Today Mr Buckland said there were still discussions ongoing about the couple’s arrangements.

He told Sky News earlier: “There is an issue about how public money is spent…

“I am of course concerned that taxpayers’ money is to be used effectively in order to provide protection to those offering a service to the British public.”

However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to step back from their duties to the British public following their move.

Mr Buckland added: “They were entitled, as a well-known family, to have regular assessments of their family and security.

“Judgements will have to be made.”

Yesterday Prince Harry had a 10-minute chat with Boris Johnson as Britain hosted an African summit to boost business links across the world.
